Course Curriculum Overview

There is no course curriculum activity except dor soem coding events that is just absurd. There are mainly sports events. Coding related activities are taken alot of time but they are not observed by the teachers properly

Students are provided placement facilities from 7th semester. Companies visiting are IBM, salesforce, infosys, wipr, celebal, Tech mahindra and many more Highest package goes around 8-10 lakh and average is 6 lakh around Around like 88-91% of the students are placed but most of them are placed in sales area rather than technical

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee of btech for cse branch is 98000 rs Whereas for hostels for two seater, its 91000 which increases by 3000 every year. For 3 and 4 seater that is available for boys only is 81000 and 73000rs respectively. Except for course fees, they will give u training every year that costs around 25000rs and paid internship from third year for which you will need to 2500-5000 rs

Campus Life

The campus life is truly exciting, events and annual days are all happening from time to time. There are sports events, annual day, dj party night, freshers, farewell, and an auspicious event of college that we call shradhanjli but there are no concerts and all stuff, recently there was a drift car event too

Hostel Facilities

The hostels does not really provide a wide range of facilities, it sticks to basic needs like having a bathroom built inside of each room. There is kitchen in hostels. The quality of meal is actually above average but not so good as well as they stick to same menu every week The hostels are actually affordable they are like 91000/- which increases by 3000 every year

Hostel Fee: INR 400000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course was simple, all you needed was above 75% in the 12th 's percentage. If you have higher jee percentage then chances of your admission are high. If significantly low percentage in 12th and 10th then you dont get cse branch

Faculty

Students can interact with teacher as much as they want, they are always ready to provide guidance some some infact more than half of the ratio of teacher does not have enough knowledge to teach their subjects, they use youtube sources that is just not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.
