Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE and got a seat, but long from my native, my parents insisted me to join some other college,then it was my choice to choose SRM as I have got good rank and expected to get scholarship.

Internships Opportunities

I have gone internship to HCL company in 4yr duration of 7 semister, in chennai. There they thought "Real Time Concepts In Networking and Software Domain ",it was innovative and Very useful to us. We used to get a stipend of 8000 and duration of 6 months.

Placement Experience

The placements in our university were appreciative and good. Maintenaning of good CGPA plays an important role, and even being perfect in aptitude, technical skills also plays important role. I am placed in TCS Company offering 3.5 Lakhs per annum. Google, Amazon, CTS, TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS ,SOCTRONICS.

Fees and Financial Aid

People who are good in academics and economically backward,may avail scholarships but need to submit many proofs for it like income, house,tax, bank statements etc.We can avail loan facilities for 4 years especially for students offered by universities itself.

Campus Life

There used to be less girls when compared to boys in our college. Many people come from different states to join rather than home state. Here people from North and south be more when compared to their own states. There will be no gender discriminating things, if any they were given strict punishment and sometimes even dismiss from college and giving bad remark for students.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
