Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are held in a systematic way. Where in total 4 CAs (continuous assessment) and 2PCAs (practical continuous assessment) takes place before the final end semester exam. The syllabus is provided at the beginning of each semester.
Internships Opportunities
Our department had already sent us for a 1 month internship course at ASHOK LABORATORY during the inter-semester break. This was one of the best opportunity that we got since our subject demands such practical experience. We got to visit all the departments that were running in that lab. At times we were also given the chance to perform. This way of learning is much more beneficial. As we go through more semesters we will also get chances to do more such internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for odd semesters are as follows:- (Tuition Fees- 25K, Development Fees- 13K, Miscellaneous Charges- 1K, Session Charges{yearly}- 3K, Student's Welfare & Activity Fund- 1K), Total: 43K. The fees structure for even semesters are as follows: (Tuition Fees- 38K, Miscellaneous Charges- 1k, Student's Welfare & Activity Fund- 1k) Total: 40K The students can avail the scholarship facilities given by West Bengal government
Campus Life
The college ensures that overall development of a student takes place barring academics. Every year the college hosts annual sports, fest and so on. The active participation of the each and every students are highly appreciated. Our department had recently organized poster making competition and biology exhibition where all the students from all the semester had taken part. The students wait throughout the year for such events
Admission
The eligibility criteria of the course requires passing 10+2 examinations from any board. This course will be highly suitable for students having interest in biology along with paramedical. The interested students can reach out to the college where detailed counselling is done. The application form, entrance exam procedure will be guided by the college authority. The students have to clear the CET exams before enrolling their names in this college.
Faculty
Our faculty members teach us exceptionally well and clear our doubts as and when approached. Apart from imparting academic knowledge they also make us industry ready. After the completion of the syllabus special doubt clearance classes are also arranged by our faculties
