Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teaching criteria of CU is too good we have mock test before exams so it is very easy for us to get good marks in exams. Even in CU there CGPA grading system and its good . It's totally depend upon the marks of topper . If the topper get 80 marks then the passing marks will be half that is 40. So it is very easy to make more CGPA in CU. And if we talk about the syllabus then syllabus contain whole content which is necessary for the student. Exams are not difficult any student can easily get pass in the exams. There is no difficulty. Teachers share the study material with you even the important topic also so it's very easier for the student to get good marks.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is a big scam in medical field . After 7th sem you are eligible for placement. They only provide 1 or 2 placement opportunity till now and the placement package is 2,40,000 per year not more than that . If we spend 3,60,000 for full course are we fool . Any one choose these such universities for more package not for their fame and name . But at last very few courses are there where students get good packages. There are 2 companies came for placement 1. Clear dekho 2. Lenskart Only 3 students are interested for the job and others are still struggling out of 40 students . After getting degree i will do masters so that i can come in teaching line and earn more and more .

Fees and Financial Aid

Chandigarh University (CU) provides scholarship to the students but the main thing is it is decided on 2 things - 1. CUCET Exam 2. Percentile They provide scholarship upto 70 percent but the main thing it depend upon your hand in future if you got any supply or your attendance is not maintained then scholarship will not be continue . This is the main disadvantage of their scholarship . I done B optom and it's total cost for me is 360000 ( 45k per semester) One more disadvantage is there any how they take advantage of attendace and after shortage of it they cost thousands of rupees from students . They know very well how to earn more and more from students . They always take advantage of us in case of fees and expenditure.

Campus Life

4.5

The social life of CU is too good. Many celebrities came their for the promotion of their upcoming movies. And also CU celebrate every festival whether it's holi or navratre. Campus life of the student is too good. There are many cafeteria inside the campus you can go there and enjoy. There are very few books available in Library for my course. They should add on some.

Admission

It's very easy to take admission in private universities such as CU. They just need your money and degree will be in your hands. Eligibility of the course is completion of 12th with 50% marks. After that if you get scholarship then apply for Cucet exam and easily you can get it. But how long you will get it it's in your hand. At the time of admission they make different image of the university but when you got into it you realise it's different. They can make some changes in their scholarship such as they should continue it till last once anyone got it. After that the cost per year increases it should be stable atleast.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of CU is very good. They always come forward to help students and they clear our doubts. Even on week off i text them my doubts without any discomfort they solve it . And they even prepare you for the exams also. Test are also conducted by faculties for better result. They even help me in my research work also. They have very good background with a lot of knowledge in them. They motivate you in different time for making you better.

Placement Experience:

students can capply on their final years for the placements. The campus placement is itself too good. Different big medical comapnies and hospitals such as apollo, and other use to select numerous students for placement. the highest package ever made is 1700000( seventeen lakhs rupess). almost 90% students get placement from our department. my plan is to get a good placement in a highly ranked hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason to choose this course is that eye is a god gifted thing and the person who are not able to see it makes me emotional that this world is so beautiful and everybody has the right to see the same . When i was small , i was suffer from hypermyopia so all thr local doctors refused to treat my eyes and my family came to pgi for my treatment and hence i feel that this course should be opted and i opted thus course for which i came for my treatment. I feel so happy that i am studying here . Thus course is so beneficial for the upcoming generation as we all have certain types of problem regarding eyes and it us almost common in this era that everyone is myopic or hypermyopic so i feel that through this course i should know about what us happening in this modern era. This is total 4 year course that is three years for study and 1 year for internship. It provides ys how to deal with patients and it includes 6 semestersun total for 3 years .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested medical stream also this one can treat patients without medicine and surgery, so no side effects. Although the teaching faculty is not that much it is best from clinical aspects. The more Ilyou sees patients the more you learn. Faculty is MPT and Ph.D. holders in various fields. There is a semester system and it's not so tough to pass exams if you study well. The duration of the course is 4.5 years i.e. 4 years of study and 6 months of internship.
