Likes

The staff of college is really very interactive towards the students.
Campus of the college is very friendly. College campus has lots of trees and plants that helps nature and humans.
Organizes many events that are helpful for the students for the future. Invites industrial persons to interact with students.

Dislikes

Poor management during the event's happened in the college.
College has limited staff size therefore sometimes it is hard to manage students.
College has no canteen and not have many food places near college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this field because I was interested in learning how actual programming is done. I am learning a lot from this course like how websites are made, new trends that are trending in the market. From this couse I get to learn how I can help an organization with my skills. I think that the exam should be more based on practical knowledge. So that the colleges will emphasize on the practical knowledge of the students as much as possible. Due to this, students will be ready to face the real world.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 77745 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides many internships opportunities for the students. Internships are stipend. Companies offer students roles like Web developer, Android developer, Python Developer and Java Developer etc.

Placement Experience

Students are applicable for campus placement from 4th semester onwards. Highest package offered is 10lakh per annum and average package offered is 3 lakh per annum. 80% of students getting placed by college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students fees can also be paid in installments. Total fees of MCA first year is Rs.77,745/-. Reserved category candidates get scholarships. I don't know much about scholarships. Still I have not taken any placement or internship through campus.

Campus Life

Library has wide range of books and journals available. Students can access it throughout the year. Projectors are installed in classrooms and digital classroom is also available. College organizes many cultural, religious and fun events.

Admission

For MCA you need graduation complete. For this you either need IT students or you need Mathematics as your subject for graduation. I had to give CET entrance exam for admission. You have to visit the official website of cet cell to give the entrance exam. Result and admission process is very time consuming.

Faculty

In MCA of DMI, each subject has one faculty to teach that particular subject. It helps to understand things better and solve the difficulties of that subject with faculties. If I have doubt regarding any topic then the faculty is really supportive towards that difficult. Overall faculty of DMI is helpful towards students. We can share academics as well as personal problems with them. They are really cooperative towards that problems. DMI has limited students therefore each student can interact with teachers easily. Faculty arranges the guest lectures of the industrial persons who are professional in particular subject.

Interview Experience

No, I don't face any interview or group discussion or written test to take admission in this college. It's upon my CET and graduation score and marks. College only check that if I know the basic languages like mother tongue, english, Hindi.

I like the infrastructure of the college campus have a big area and sports ground to very much good
The faculty is very every teacher are and friendly and helpful and very students friendly
And the ratio is the equal for boys and girls

Dislikes

The only thing I don't like that we have less parking in the college campus
And ok Saturday also there is college yrr

The placements is good in this college because Lab that play yeah there is a campus placements every big companies like big 4 are there and it's good for the students for getting the percentage and the percentage of students get 90 previous year around 93% of students got placed from the College placements my plan is to after getting this degree I will make sure that I will get a job in Big force I will try

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for students generally during the final year of the MCA program. The college provides sessions for resume making, mock interviews and soft skills. The placement opportunities and packages vary each year depending on the companies visiting the campus and students performance. After completing my MCA, I plan to build and apply my technical skills by securing a job in the IT sector.

ICEM for MCA is good or bad

Likes

The faculty and teaching member are knowledgeable and supportive . But they lag in explaining concepts . I think the every college has the same situation.The teaching is focused on books concepts rather than practical.The teachers lags in practicals.
The campus has a very very good infrastructure including high storage and RAM computers in the labs on which most of the software necessary for the programming works . Along with that the wifi is only avaiable for the Hostel students .Library is good
The college environment is friendly. I remember one event where Arsh Goel came for the students to motivate and give his insights on tech. Along with there is a sport ground for cricket, football, basket ball, gyms is available with provided items..

Dislikes

As well on the other side fake companies and smaller companies came like one fake company came name Data Tech Labs. Also opportunities depends on the TPO . In our time TPO was not good .For last batches TPO was good. And we had good placments ....
Real-world projects exposure will improve learning experience. I think students should be free to do internships after 1st semester . and in the 3rd semester the focused should be more on final placments..
Canteen is good but the prices are pretty high for the simple food . For a simple vegeterian thalli we have to pay 90 rs in which we are not able to have the sabji again and again . It is one time filling. And other items have little high prices....

Placement Experience:

Placments are really good like 4 students got 12 LPA at crowdstrike after successful internships. I think in our class 20 students got placed from college side and i think it can be improved , the college should give more freedom to students for their preparation rather than focusing on attendence Good companies like Delta Capita, Crowdstrike, Vanderland, Winspire Solutions came to the campus. The placment usually starts from 3rd semeser .

Strong support from faculty, whenever students asks faculty for help they always supports.
Up to date curriculum, syllabus of the college is up to date with current trends in the industry
Environment in the campus, more oxygen level as compare other colleges

Dislikes

Food quality in the specified canteen, canteen food sometimes feels very disgusting.
No options for without onion garlic food.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from sencond semester it self. Per Students 30 companies are offered by the college. The highest package from last year is 12LPA and average package is 5LPA. Interships are also provided by the college.

Excellent College

Placement Experience:

from the 2nd semester itself, the students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Capgemini, wurth-it, Godrej,Infosys, TCS, and Sankey visit very often and make a good no. of offers. the average package is around 4-5Lpa for freshers. about 80-90% of students get placed. I plan to work and learn after getting the degree.

Remarks:

In the final verdict, I would say MIT Group has many colleges in this campus which are among top 3 colleges in Pune. MACS College certainly is among top 10.
