I entered for UPTU exam in which i ranked 14000 and through proper UPTU counselling procedure i opted for this college as it is a government aided college with less fees and good faculty in comparison to other private institutes in Kanpur.

The course curriculum here in UIET throughtout all the 4 years is followed in accordance with the courses in IITs and NIITs as it is a government aided college. So that is why the curriculum is predefined and the same is followed throught all the 4 years also students can download the syllabus from the site of Kanpur University.

There are no such internship oppurtunites here in my college its just that for summer training and other training the teachers co-operate students well enough to impart their own knowledge and experience to them and also after completion they do provide with the proper signed and authorised certificates to the students without asking for any such external fees for the above from the students.

The placement and job opportunites are average in my college as we get job opportunities by attending pooled campuses held at other colleges on their Invitation. They dont call for any such companies that reach out direct to our college for placement of UIET students there is a placement cell that manages to Inform every student regarding the pooled campuses held at other colleges where UIET is invited. I myself got placed in companies in the year 2014(i.e 7th semester). First was of OPTIMUS, pooled campus held at MPEC, mandana for the package of 3LPA. and second was of L&T Infotech, pooled campus held at PSIT, kanpur for the package of 3LPA we also receivd invitations for pooled campuses of other companies such as Aricent held at MPGI, Wipro held at PSIT etc.

The College celebrates one Technical event that is TECHMART and one cultural event that is SPANDAN every year each year the events are organised by the 4th year students, managed and financed by the college and the students for our college and others are invited to participate in it.Also every year freshers party and farewell parties are organised for the new comers and the last year students respectively which too are financed by the college and few contributions by the students too.

The fee structure is very feasible and affordable it is Rs. 53,635 per annum as it is a government aided college apart from this the students dont have to pay any other Charges. This includes all the tuiton fess, lab fees, examination fees and degree fees.

Scholarships are provided to only those students whose parents have yearly income below 1 lack or 2 lakhs as per government scheme which is not the correct way as students show fake income certificates but the students whose parents are government officers cant give it and leads to biasness else on basis of academic performance of students there are no rewards given to them.

The gender ratio B:G was 2:1 i.e in a class of 60 students, 40 were boys and 20 were girls the college supports extracurricular activities such as organizing sports events for the students, technical and cultural events for the students which includes many events such as inter college dance and singing competions, War of bands from different colleges, robotic competion also kavi sammelan is organised every in which poets are invited and honored. Alumini meet also takes place every year through which students get is touch with their seniors. The labs are also good as they are well managed and financed by the government.

The hostel facilites are not of much high standards but it is a neat and clean comfortable environment for the students. Within th hostel vicinity the students are provided with a big ground to play and for other exercises and walk purpose.The security is

There is a running interaction between the seniors and the juniors in the college as the students together be it the seniors and juniors co-operate together for all work and organize events such as teachers day celebration, freshers party farewell party etc. Also the students also get in touch with the alumini through the alumini meet held by the college. and the seniors and the alumini are too responsive enough to guide us and hepl us out with the projects and placement experiences.

The faculty of my college is quite good, co-operative and knowledgeable as the teachers here are well educated with high equcation degrees such as masters(M.tech) or PHD in various streams.
