Student perspective on sal college of engineering.

I have taken computer engineering so it's the highest demanding course right now in this engineering field. No specific reason but i wanted to pursue this so i have selected this course. They have an sessions for interview preparation and internship helps students deal with real world out there. In improvement they can work on more practical basesd knowledge. There's 2 exams in a semester first internal and then external or end sem we can say. And difficulty level is usually moderate but depends on the faculty.

From 7th sem student can have the placement facilities. Many companies such as L&T, Tcs and other local ahmedabad based companies approach and in total 60 companies visit campus during placement period. Highest package last was 9lpa and average package rounds to 4lpa. Around 60-70% students are placed. After degree I'm going for job as I'm sitting in placements.

Since i have joined college their is no fees hike and i think they're not going to increase in near future. Total cost of 1 year is around 80,000 including all the study materials. Scholarship you can take from government programs. No such thing as campus employment. But there are clubs there for development and engagement between students.

Every year there a annual fest during march and it's name is panache and technical fest are usually organised by GTU. Yes all the books are available in library and other than that many magazines and journal also available and make it available for students. Here sports activities are best as it's organised twice in a year during march April window and other in October. There is exposure to many games like football, cricket, table tennis, volleyball and many more. Yes all the groups and clubs are managed by students only and it makes is great impact in between students.

Eligibility is that you have scored good in your 12th boards then you can enroll through acpc Or can directly approach college. Exams frequency is like 2 exams in a semester first internal and second end sem. And paper timings are of 2 hour 30 minutes in end sem and 1 hour 15 minutes in internal exams. No application fees is there. And no such need in improvement in admission process.

Faculty to student ratio is like 1:30 . But the faculty approach here is very great and they interact with you like a friend. You can interact with faculty any time during the day like from 9 in morning to 5pm they are there in college to help students struggling with their problems. Their teaching method is really good. And some faculty has special way of teaching makes student enjoy and love that subject.
