The course curriculum is same from many years. I think they should change or modify it making it relevant for present scenario. This problem is with most of nits, iits and other top colleges.about the Frequency of exams there are 2 cycle tests and 1 end semester exam in a semester Which i found good. Difficulty level of exam depends upon the faculty of that subject.

Microsoft, google, etc. companies will come in end of 2nd year for internships. And in end of 3rd year also. I just passed 1st year so i don't know much about the stipend. And project. But as far i know the stipend is good only.

Placements of my college is very good. Many companies visits including google, Microsoft, Tcs, Infosys,etc. after 6th semester people can sit for on campus placement. Percentage of students getting placed vary from branch to branch for civil it was 77% last year.

Tution fees are like- 62,500 per semester Hoatel and mess fess- 50,000 per semester Which is a bit on higher side. They provide scholarship for ews and bpl students. For person with family income less than 5 lpa will get 33% reduction in tution fees and with family income less tha 1 lps will get 66% reduction in tution fees.

Festember, Niitfest And pragyan are the major fests in our college. Festember as per name generally is around September, pragyan in February and nittfest in March. Library is very good containing wide variety of books. Projector is present in every class room. Extracurricular is good.and clubs are fabulous.

Hostel facility is not upto the mark as i expected before joining the college and mess food is garbage you cannot eat in mess daily. You need to go out some days to eat something good. The menu is mostly South Indian and even if it is North Indian the taste will be south indian only.

To take addmission in nit trichy civil branch - minimum percentile in jee mains is 98 percentile for other state general category student. My percentile in jee mains was 98.18 percentile. There is home State quota so 50% of seats will be reserved for tamil nadu Students.

Faculty are qualified. As most of they are professors and they have done PhD form iits,nits or any renowned institutes only. And some are assistant professor which have completed mtech from renowned institutes. The teaching methods vary from faculty to faculty. Some faculties can connect with students very well while other not. For interactions and approach bility it is very good, you can approach the faculty after class also.
