Best and eminent college for B.Ed. (SXCE)

The curriculum is very well defined. It covers all areas required for a B.Ed. trainee. The curriculum is very helpful as it teaches how to face in a real world situation that is school. Areas of improvement are -the college should focus more on method subject as after becoming teacher we have to deal with method subject.There is semester system.Exams are held on their scheduled time and paper is moderate to difficult level. If one does not study chances are there that they may fail.

The internship facility is of 4 months for B.Ed.trainee students in different schools be it government or private schools. Trainees are exposed to real school environment. Internship is very important part of B.Ed.curriculum as it enhances the skills of teaching. St xaviers helps student to honestly complete their internship program. The nirf ranking of college is first in Bihar. It is accredited with A in Naac third cycle.

From 4th semester student become eligible for campus placement. This year ST karen's,Saint Mary's ,S Raza high school and many more schools came for campus placement. Students can apply on their own for selection in any schools. Average packages 30000and highest 45000. Almost 60% students got placed this year. I will go for higher education. And also will apply for government schools.

The tuition fee of B.Ed. is 1,97,000. And overall including hostel conveyance and teaching aids will be around 3 lakh.The fee is taken in installment in first semester we have to give 70,000 then in 2nd 30 000 again in third 70,000 and 4th 27,000. For girls there is scholarship. Financial aids are also provided.I was given a financial aid of 250000. They also provide campus selection facility.

May over all experience with campus life was very good. It was my first college where everyday I went to college. The rules and regulations are very strict. 80% attendance for theory exam and 90% attendance for practical exam is compulsory. The library has so many research generals and books regarding b.Ed m.Ed and PhD programs. The classroom has very nice infrastructure. Teaching process is done by projector and ppts. That is Mike facility. Smart board is also there. There are so many extracurricular activities held like inter colleges competition, sports day also celebrated every year. The college has its alumin association.

The admission is to B.Ed.-CET entrance. The eligibility criteria is graduation from any subject or stream. The application form filling is to be done on Lalit Narayan Mithila university website. Registration will start soon. I did not avail reservation benefits. The questions are easy to moderate level. It is a 2hr examination. If you score above 70 you can get admission. I am a general category student and I scored79 marks. I was selected in the first list only

The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. There is one mentor on every 10 students. All the faculties are well qualified and most are PhD holders. Students are free to interact with their teachers anytime and they are very cooperative and helpful. The college has counselor as well. One can talk to the counselor on issues regarding mental health , career or anything.
