Likes

Things i like the most about the colege is its faculty member. The way they teach us. Every faculty plays a important role in ensuring the students
The ambience and environment of the campus is the other thing. it is very student friendly campus
Moreover they ensures that the students are able to upgrade their skills and also provide lots of opportunities for their growth.

Dislikes

It is very hard to reach each civil department little bit far from the main block

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching methods can be a little bit improved by making the classes interesting. faculty can be teach the students after giving them some basic information. so they can have the basics and also refresh the student's mind and can refill whatever studies in earlier classes. the faculty can also give additional explanation if needed. They can take examples and teach so that the students will not forget. frequency and timing of exams can also be little bit. They can give students some time after one examination

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about fees structure ,they can increase the fee of NRIs . I feel little bit unfair about NRI qouta's fees structure.they provide different types of scholarship for different quota's.and also provide different types of financial aid for deserving students . The scholarships are taken if the student fails in an exam ,this forces the student have to study inorder to acces the scholarship

Campus Life

The campus life is better and best than i imagined .the xampus provides different opportunities for showcasing ing our talent.they conduct BRAHMA,which was the national level technical fest conducted by adi shankara ASHWAMEDHA,it is compined with technical cultural and fun events The campus have a main library and department library .the accesibility of books is easy.there are many clubs for students .in order to pursue large opportunities students can take membership in different clubs Each student can join 5 clubs

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that the student have to pass the keam or jee entrance along with 12th qualification. Application forms and other admission process are carried out online.we have to reach the campus and do this processes by ourself on their site Reservation benefits are also there, the deserving student will get fee deduction An area to be improved in the admission process is that the staff have to introduce the students to their site and give helps to fill the details ..so the student will not make any mistakes

There is a healthy relation between the faculty and students .we can interact with the faculty anytime .each faculty member are ready to give their cent percent whenever we wanted .they are ensuring the every possible way to teach their students.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. Admission process is simple with keam having priority. Rest of the seats are reserved for management and NRI. I accepted cse exams and curriculum. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
