Course Curriculum Overview
My keen interest in English Literature and the kind of inclusion of textbooks drew me towards applying for the course. The novels and essay books added on to my prior knowledge. The curriculum includes thorough exercise of mental ability and interests us to go for it further in higher education. Assignments were too lengthy and came of liitle use later. Practical approach was included, but more areas of audio-visual methods could be included. Educational conferences and seminars can be a future inclusion. Library was there and it added-on to my comfort. A single semester had two-times examination and multiple other assignments and tests. Difficulty was moderate. Some assignments needed thorough research. In the end, I wouls say, more practical inclusion is required,
Internships Opportunities
There were no internships. My course in bachelors in ENGLISH LITERATURE drew no interships, as it was not open for my course, which was a drawback, This is one of the areas the instituition needs to work upon to fecilitate better learning and experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for my course is minimal and affordable, It costed me around 16000 for 3 years. Scholarships were a bliss. I got it in all the three years. I got benefit from U.P. scholarship, which was reimbursed before every semester. Tuition fee increase is minimal too, around 2 to 3 percent after 3-4 years. I did enrol in clubs regarding writing courses. Stipend was too less, but enjoyed the experiene.
Campus Life
Annual festivities were there. Sangam was one of them. Dignitaries were invited, A special nprogramme, JYOTI was held for differently-abled people. Library had range of books from History, fiction, to science and Fine arts. Technological inclusion on broader basis is required. Sports section is good, ranging from indoor to outdoor. I Joined a club on writing and it improved my skills of expression.
Admission
I got admitted as per merit basis. It required passing in intermediate in any certified board. You can get the application form and other details online on their website or fill it offline too in the campus or related colleges. There are greater chances of scholarship reimbursement for candidate of reserved category. Exams were conducted twice a semester and difficulty level was moderate. Admission is pretty easy,they can work on smootheining it on the website.
Faculty
All the professors are either phd holders or have done bachelors in education. the faculty-to-student ratio is not that appreciable-61 to 1 Interactions with faculty were there and it aided, but it could be improved.
