Likes

Faculties are nice here. They provide attention to every students in the class.
Faculties encourages students for entrepreneurship rather than seeking jobs.
Students from all part of the country is present , which gives us an insight of their cultures.

Dislikes

The food in the hostel is very bad as per my experience. I am also a student who joined hostel for forst time.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are well designed , comprehensive and provides knowledge about the core subject. They are very much applicable for real world application and future academics . Exams produces sense of competition among students . Exams are taken in fixed regular interval and courses are timely covered.

Internships Opportunities

There are not many internship opportunities that I saw available in my college. Since I haven't got to experience them or got any internship till now so it wouldn't be nice to say anything on it. Still, I will say that yes some internships are available.

Placement Experience

We are mainly encouraged for entrepreneurship but yes there is placement cell also and they do pretty nice job . I wouldn't say that placements are very good but yes a decent 20k - 30k job you can get. You can go higher on the basis of your potential.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fee increases every year by 5 % and it includes everything from exam fees to miscellaneous . My complete cost of education is 6 lakh tuition fees and other fees such as exam library included . The pupils of Uttarakhand , army children and girls have got some scholarships too.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is very good . Apart from study we have many activities and games quizes hackathons etc from time to time which are open for every branch of students which gives us opportunity to explore other branches too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms and accommodations are very good . I am currently in 3 seater room and paying 90k a year for this in which mess and laundry is included . The problem which I face personally is the problem of food because somedays I don't even dare to eat mess foods. Overall it is good if you have already a hostel experience.

Hostel Fee: INR 92000 per year

Admission

Admission process is very simple doesn't require any entrance exam . Everything is based on the result of high school that is class 12th result . You just have to get registered and visit the office there you will be guided for everything regarding documents and fee submission under one roof .

Faculty

All the faculties hold PhD degree in their respective courses except some . They are graduated from reputed government universities . They are ready to address any kind of doubt to the students at any time. We get to interact with teachers regularly during class in labs or personally too. They are available almost 24/7 to students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester ( 4year program), 5th semester ( 3 year program) 3rd semester ( diploma) students are eligible for campus placement. There are several companies visited like Patanjali, Syngenta, Iffco, Dabur, Baer, etc. You can easily get 2.7 L.PA to 12.8 L.PA. Around 80% of students get placed. After completing the degree I will go for agriculture food officer.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
