What Students Say
Likes
- As i was going for the admission for the first time, the staff as well as the other members of the admission council/cell were very friendly and were explaining me everything i asked. But i thought its their strategy to enroll me and i was wrong.
- Its been 1 year since i enrolled in the university and i don't regret it. If you want to get a admission in any course you have a chance of getting upto 70% scholarship which is quite convenient for a middle class families.
- The best thing about my university is it's festivals. There are so many programs, competition, activities going on here that anyone can sharp their skills.
Dislikes
- 1st thing i disliked about the university is that when i enrolled in this it was under construction and still not finished. Its been 1 year and the constant construction blocks few campus sites that are good to relax at.
- The on going construction also creates lots of noise if you are studying in a classroom that is near the construction zone and also creates distraction.
- Some of the students get AC rooms as soon as the semester starts but not luck for few who doesn't get them and i am one of them.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BTECH CS (General) as I was intrested in software development. There are many other specialization also that are very helpful for students having accurate goals related to the degree. The course I choose isthe best as the college organizes many seminars related to jobs in IT sectors where we can find how are we going to train for the jobs. There is regular posts of internships that comes around the end of 1st semester through email and whatsApp group.
Internships Opportunities
The major companies that provide internships to the students are TCS, Infosys, Infotech,Wipro, Byjus and many more. The basic stipend provided by these companies depend whether the student are in higher year or freshers. As a fresher you can expect a basic stipend of 8000 rs to 15000 rs. The internships range in different fields even if you are from CS department you can clear an internship related to IOT industry.
Placement Experience
There are so many opportunities for on campus opportunities and are quite achievable if the student has good remars in the studies and practical field. I have planned to get some work experience through internships and after getting the degree i would aim for some competitive companies to secure a job that requires a more practical work rather than some corprate work.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is not too high and not tool low for a private college and can be afforded by a middle-class family. I am studying through a student loan and it's is not too bad. Companies that are connect to the university and TCS is the most common one to enroll students. There are so many chances of internships that has average stipend upto 10000 rs and the university sometimes hosts on campus internships that has stipend of about 8000rs.
Campus Life
Campus life is very smooth with very few restrictions. The best about thing the campus life is its festivals and other activities, The festival contains several sports activities that are held at specific days and also held throught the whole campus time. There is a shortage in student-run social groups.
Admission
There is no entrance exams students can enroll through their 12th marks and if they have given competitive exams they can also enroll through that. The application form is available on the official site and can allso be filled by visiting the admission council. There has been a quite a large improvement in the admission process as the sheer number of the staff is increased hence making the enrollment process quite fast and easy.
Faculty
The faculty are all chill apart form few faculty that will always threaten you related to their subjects. In 1st semester the study to understanding ratio is around 70:30 and if you are a good student and can focus on studies then it is a piece of cake.
Other Applied Colleges
