the pros and cons of shree lr tiwari college of engineering from student perspective.

in first year all the braches share same curriculum which is maths , physics , chemistry and mechanics and BEE which has no use of it cause if a student has taken course Compter science what will he do with chemistry and the curriculum college is from mumbai university which share a highly outdated curriculum which has no real world use if i am been honest .the result declared after aroudn2.5 months of exam completion.

in the name of internship student get work in college lab department cause most of the student were not enough qualified enough for the internship from out of campus and the student who do internship in college get a stipend of 5 - 6k per month or sometime free.

from semester 6/7 student are eligible to sit placement but placement in shree lr tiwari is not so good as company usaully come as less and the company which come they looks for student with 8-10 cgpa and give package of around 8-10 lakhs and the student who has some less gpa score get package of 2-4 lpa which is less in 2024 .

the college from there end provide no scholarship but student can claim scholarship like EBC if they fall under the criteria of family income under 800000/ year . in fy the fees is 112000 but after first year the fees goes around 90k to 1lakh the 12000 they deducted from it of books and stationary . campus placement is good and bad at same time cause student do get placement the ratio is 50-60 percent who are extremely talented. the placements starts from 4th year .

the overall experience is good as if something lacks then something is overprovided. the social aspect is not great as the the cultural club don't organize good party and event except some technical event in which student get certificate as perk which as no use at all except credits in diary . sport activities do organised but once a year name as carnival which has 5 to 10 games.

the admission is done on the basis of the mark student has scored on mhtcet entrance exam for engineering and pharma . the cutt-off the college most rated branch ges upto 85-95 for computer science engineering and then it goes low with branches , student with hindi has there mother tongue do get admission as lingustic minority .

the faculty quality is mixed with a ratio of one faculty to 60 students . many professors expect already knowlegeable rarely start from basic and simplifying concept . repeated questions can be met with rudeness and some teachers struggle to communicate effectively with parent . despite this issue due to the strong academic framwork stays positive.
