Class activities like presentation, group discussion, project are continuously conducted during academic year.
Teacher in Fergusson is always there for students situation in any situation and problems.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose biochemistry because of my graduation teacher . They guide me about biochemistry. Biochemistry is a core science it includes so much concept related to our daily life. Further academic options is also there.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 98000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee for biochemistry is 60000 per year. You can pay it in the installment. I required about 1.50 lack rupees for total course including all fees. I got mudita scholarship of rupees 58000. Campus is provided a job but there is very less possibility to get placement from college.

Campus Life :

Bulk of festival are going on in Fergusson college. Sports are also available which increases students ability and platform to students. Most of social groups, clubs, are going on in college which provides information about recent activity which going on

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility are provided in college. Hostel is very good having security. I don't have much ideas about facilities and addmission processes. But very limited seats are there for post graduation students

Hostel Fee : INR 22000 per year

Admission :

Bachelor in chemistry, zoology, microbiology, biotechnology, botany can apply for msc biochemistry.exam isnot that much difficult. For the addmission they conducted a entrance exam. And shortlist a student

Faculty :

All facilities are Highly qualified. All the teachers are PHD and postdoctoral level. Teaching system is excellent. They continue conducted presentation, group activity which students in their study. Teacher are so much Interactive with students.

The overall experience is good

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

palcements are done through commite of experts in the field , forms are filled in toffline mode , average CTC offered is around 4lakh .around 14 companies participate for recruitmnet process in field of biostatics, IT / IIT , finance and consulting.companies like tata motors, novartis,GSK,Cystl , Tvanat technologies. etc.recruit students for the company. my plans after getting degree is to get into teaching filed and helps students with their academics chemisrty .

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
