NHCM is class apart

BCA is one of the trendiest courses and I wanted to start my professional career at the earliest or else I would have chosen B.Tech. BCA also gives us almost the same opportunities and we get placements too at the same companies like B.Tech. There are some unwanted subjects and if they are got rid of, we will be at the helm as our course is adept at broadening our horizons.

Placements are excellent as nearly 20 companies come for placements every year. Once we enter the penultimate semester, we can enroll ourselves at the T&P department. They train us and make sure we are ready to sit for the placements. Almost 100% is what our college's track record is in terms of placements from the last few years. Companies like Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, and others who have their offices in Bengaluru offered placements worth 4 to 15 lakhs to students of our department.

Fees are quite okay as most private colleges in Bangalore are costly. Since our college is affiliated with Bangalore University, fees are kept in check. All the state and central scholarships are available at our college as most students do qualify for one or the other scholarship offered by our college.

Sargam is our annual fest and apart from that we have 2-3 other fests in every semester. From the orientation program to farewell every thing is celebrated at our campus with great enthusiasm and students are given memories that last with them forever. There are various societies and most of them are operated by students. The college has given an open hand to students and that's what make societies functions as per students' will.

There was no entrance but cut-offs are generally high at our college. Almost 50% of seats are reserved in the reserved category and 50% for the open category which I see as quite a fair ratio. Most students like me applied online and once we got the confirmation, we got all our documents ready and after verifying them at the college, we got an enrolment letter in our hands soon.

Faculties are umpteenth as we have enough supporting and guest faculties too. NHCM faculties are well qualified and means business at all costs. Students are dealt with strictly not just in terms of attendance but in class, too one has to pay attention to the faculties. They know everyone's name and one can't escape their eyes.
