What Students Say

Likes

Here there is strict rules for grooming standards and other things. You will be trained for hospitality industry from day one .
There are fully AC classrooms , The kitchen and bakery is very big and are on different floors.

Dislikes

The management is somewhere delays things. Sometimes they ignore the issue of the student.
They send late comers back to home even if they get a minute late . I hate this thing as I got sent back home many time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to become a chef but now that I am studying since almost 2 years my plans are changed . The semester is of 4 to 5 months . There are 5 units in every subject. Initially there are 7 subjects per semester. practical are occured 3 r 4 times a business week . The exam timing is 2 hours in internal and 3 hours in end term . There are 3 units in internal examination and 5 in end term .

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very high . There maybe not scholarship available. The fees of this course gets increase every year for the new batch. As there is alot of inflation in our country. The fees for total course is 4.40 lakhs including uniform and other charges . Campus placement is very weak , they r not good in placement. This course may not be affordable for some people.

Campus Life

There are functions held on Diwali, Holi and other special festival or Days . The institute is small so there is no such campus life is it is a institute not a college . There is a library from where students can borrow books. All type of necessary books are available in library. There is no sports activity. There are no social groups or clubs . There is no such CAMPUS LIFE

Admission

Eligibility of course is 12th pass with good marks maybe above 60%. You can find the application form on their website or it is better to visit offline. There is no reservation benefit fees is same for everyone . If you visit the institute there will be a free of cost councelling. Which makes it easier for you to decide .

Faculty

The faculty members who teach us are well qualified and have a great experience/exposure to hotel industry which is very important for us too . They share their personal experience and help us to learn from it . The faculty is good , friendly, helpful. They interact very good with students . It also depends on how you behave with your teacher.

Best college for Hotel Management in Delhi, with excellent industry connect and great faculty.

Likes

Faculties are knowledgeable and teach through modern and updated tools
Continuous mentorship by faculty and HOD.
Placements are very good and the best 5 star hotels are selected for internship and placements

Placement Experience:

75% attendnce with full payment of fees is one of the critieria. Also getting good grades is an add on for Management trainee position. All the students are placed in best of the hotels of Delhi, 5 star hotels. Average package is 3 to 5 lakhs. The college provides multiple opportunities for the students to get placed in the best hotel with the best package. I would love to see myself as a Hotel Manager in 2-3 yrs time. I m very much invested in this course and would like to prove myself for my family.

Dislikes

Compared to other colleges it does not have cultural activities
For teaching they use both hindi and english

After completing 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements The average package is 8 LPA to 10 LPA The percentage of students getting placement is 94% approximately As IHM Pusa ia brand in this industry you can shine wherever you are if you have gained the skills from them properly

IHM Pusa - An Inside View

Likes

State-of the art facilities and the infrastructure of the institute were a few of the best things that we highly appreciated in college.
Exposure to hospitality professionals helps in building and developing confidence along with gaining hands-on experience.
Extra-curricular activities like Swacchata Drive, People of Pusa, Visiting Faculties for Demo-sessions, etc., helps students with their personality development and their personal growth.

Dislikes

Poor connectivity inside the college area due to jammers.
Less number of hours hostellers can stay out for.
Less number of accommodation for students in hostels.

Placement Experience:

In second year of college, all the stuidents are required to go for Industrial training where many groups/organisations accept applications for Industrial trainees. Many hotel chains like The LEELA, ITC, LALIT, etc,. visit the college for placements along with other organisations from different industries as well. Post pandemic, the placement ratio has sky-rocketed to 70-80%.

A brief about ihm pusa

Likes

3 kitchens for different purpose like bakery, cooking etc
2 restaurant one is old one is new but only new one is used
Good campus placement as all 5 star companies come

Dislikes

Faculty is not good, most of them don't know how to teach
Infrastructure is too bad only 2 buildings a very small collehe
Kitchen equipments has old food stains, doesn't clean properly

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for placement Highest package I don't know but average package is near about 300000 per annum My olans after getting degree is to do a job for sometime and open a cloud kitchen
