Course Curriculum Overview
Our course comprises of 4 major subjects based on core operational departments of hotel industry i.e Front office, F&B service, kitchen, Housekeeping and also subjects includes like accountancy, food science, f&b controls, food safety and quality to groom us to be a better professional to run a hotel.
Placement Experience
All the 5 star hotel chain like Ta group of hotelsj, Oberoi group of hotels, Hyatt, Four seasons Maldives, Intercontinental group of hotels etc Quick service resturants like KFC, pizza hut, Dominos and Retail outlet like Relience and Aditya Birla group comes for their campus drive. Their interview process comprising of group discussion followed by personal interview round for thr the shortlisted candidates from the first round. Institutions provide guest lectures on how to face interview and provide common personal interview round questions with general gd topics, and provide practice for gd and demo personal interview by the faculty members.
College Events
Theme lunch, Hindi pakhwada, onam celebration, Diwali celebration and Food and fun fest named as Fandango. Theme lunch is around for 50 pax all coordinated by students and guests are foreigners, local people and fandango is the 3 day food and fun fest with 250-300 guests per day and onam and hindi pakhwada, diwali is for college students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This program is quite expensive and modes of payment is online like Google pay, cheque, NEFT, direct bank transfer etc. Only ignou fees is provided by us and for handouts and uniform is paid extra, no other charges. Yes, college provide transparency in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, college provides but only for SC, ST and obc students. The form is filled in first year of college and it is renewed every year and it provides 50% compansation to the college and hostel fees.
Campus Life
In our college the number of girls are less in comparison to boys fresher's party, cultural fest, farewell parties cake mixing ceremony is conducted every year and also this college has wide diversity students from different parts of country studies here with a friendly environment.
Hostel Facilities
Yes i have opted for hostel it is on sharing basis. And rooms are clean and provided with all the amenities and no pgs are available in an around but rooms are given on rent and all the girls are provided with hostel
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the college organises alumni meets and meet and greet functions. The students interact whenever they want through the CR team. Love of their is to help. Many seniors are there who help current students with corporate knowledge aand support
Admission
Because I wanted to pursue hotel management and we give entrance exam and as per merit list college is alloted and also reason to choose this college because of its beautiful location just near to the beach and also located in beautiful kerala and also it is surrounded by numerous of five star hotels and also it is been recommended by one of the alumni that its theory and placements are really good.
Faculty
Each subject has one lecture for practicals and one lecture for theory per week and kitchen for 2 days a week one for hot kitchen and one for bakery and it is well explained by conducting briefing before every practical lecture. The top most position is holded by the principal and average experience required of 10-15 years after post graduation for becoming the principal and average age must be above 40 and for the lectures the age limit is not there qualifications required is to clear all india teacher's eligibility test after after graduation or having minimum 2 industry experience.
