IS SRM UNIVERSITY REALLY WORTH IT

The course curriculum is not that good because of some unnecessary subjects added in the course which have zero relationship with the course, but you will get the major subjects also and the course is overall good . The frequency of exam is comparatively more than other colleges and ,this college conducts four examination in a single semester and a final semesters exam in the end of the semester. Hence, the exams are easy and not that difficult.

The internship opportunities provided by the campus is very few. You can apply for internship out campus but the campus internship are very good if you manage to get one then you will get very much perks and experience from that internship.

The placements of our college is decent enough,if you are a good student and have maintained a good gpa over the years then there is chances that you will get placed after four years. There are many companies visiting SRM NCR campus like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture,TCS , etc. The average package is between 6 to 7 lakhs. Almost 60 percent of the students gets places in the campus placement and the other students either go for further studies or some do other things.

The tution fee for BTech in computer science is 3,21,000 and if you are looking for different degree then the fee is less than BTech . Exam fees are also collected every semester which is around 3500 and rest there is no extra fees. If you take the hostel facilities then the fees for AC hostels are 200000 and non AC hostels are 1,50,000. There is no scholarship provided by the college and there is no scheme of scholarship program.

The campus life here is not that good as compared to other private colleges and the fests here are not that good even they didn't conduct the fest this year . There are two major fest in SRM NCR campus one is Rubaroo that is the cultural fest of the college and the another is innovate which is the tech fest of the college . There are many clubs in this campus you will definitely find your favourite club and you can be a part of it. The college also has NCC and NSS the students are also engaged in this programs.

The hostel facility here is decent enough to stay the mess facilities are also good. This campus provides hostels for both boys and girls in both AC and non AC options. If you want to stay in the hostel you can apply for the hostel. The hostel fee varies from 1,21000 for three seater non AC and 2,10000 for two seater AC. The food quality of mess is overall good but the menu is repeated many time and you will get bored by the food. The hostel rooms have attached bathroom and has a personal study table chair and a cupboard.

The admission process of this college is the exam conducted by the university that is SRMJEE and the eligibility criteria is that you should have atleast 60 percent marks overall and 55 percent marks on major three subjects that is physics, Chemistry and maths.SRMJEE application form is available online in the SRM's website and you can fill out the form . There is no reservation benifits provided by the college . The difficult level of the exam conducted is medium you can easily clear the paper and get into this college and SRM also takes direct admission so if you have good marks you can directly come to the campus and take admission, the admission process is so smooth.

The qualification of the faculty member are all have their doctorate degree and every faculty has PhD in special subjects. The faculty here is very helpful and kind they will never let you down and the will help you in every possible way and the mentorship provided by them is excellent. The faculty is the best part of this college.
