It is the best institute if anyone wants to do graduation in hotel management and tourism degrees Experienced faculty is like a boon for the students who are pursuing their degree in this institute Vestibule training is the major highlight of this college

Entrance Preview

BHMCT entrance exam for colleges in maharashtra date of entrance is declared in news papers. Interested candidates can fill up the form and submit them at the respective colleges after the result is declared online CAP rounds are conducted online.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty at MSIHMCT are excellent, The degree course is a professional course with a lot of opportunities in catering and hospitality fields. Jobs can even be availed in airlines, railways, hospitals, cruises, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Completed my internship at Sayaji hotel It was a great experience which provided me with an insight of the industry. Stipend during internship was around 1000 Rupees. All major operating business hotels were open for internship programmes.

Placement Experience

Being a government run institute, The placements are great and happen in almost all of the major brands operating in the hotel industry. Job oportunities are infinite if you are ready to work hard.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like ihcl, ihg, eih, the Hyatt and Hilton the etc. All most ever students gets a placement via college. Many of the students have plans like to do MBA, MSc or to get into any MT program of any company. MT program is a management training program offered by the company which allows you previllage of getting promoted to managers level in span of two years. It is paid program and they have examination as well. Minimum package offered by any company is 3 lacks per year.

The only government college in pune

Maharashtra State Institute of hotel management and catering technology, Pune is the only government college in Pune. It's one of the best colleges in Pune one can think of taking admission. As it's a dream for many students who come to Pune or who are from Pune and inspire by the hospitality industry. As it is a government college fee here is very less compared to other colleges in Pune. Recently our college has opened a new building for degree program students. It consists of 3 fully equipped training kitchens, bakery lab, accommodation practical lab,2 training restaurants and classrooms. Facilities here are very helpful, and they guide you really well.
