Course Curriculum Overview
My course was bachelor in civil engineering and the curriculum was according to Savitribai phule Pune University. The curriculum contains some old techniques and some current techiniques also. The curriculum contains real life application of construction and fields related to it. There are 2 main exams per semester excluding internal termwork and viva.
Internships Opportunities
There are High chances of getting internships but mainly for computer IT students. In 2021 my friend got paid internship from Nvidia with stipend of 3ok per month. But for other branches I can't say. But there was one or two internships for civil engineering students.
Placement Experience
Some students get internships from third year also and at my time many computer IT students get placed in 4th year and campus was TCS, Wipro, Adani Power, KPIT, L&T, Pidilte, etc. The highest package of 2022 was around 30 lpa from computer branch and average package was about 6lpa. Around 40 to 50 percent students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think current overall fee for general category student is around 1.3L per year which includes tution fees, development fees,insurance of student and some minors. There are additional charges for stationary. The scholarship are available according to caste. The OBC student fee is around 60k per year.
Campus Life
The college campus is awesome. The college organises various festivals every year like Maffick, KSF, Ganesh Utsav, etc. and also there are many fests according to the branch. There is huge Kusumagraj library which contains thousands of books of every field which anyone can read. There are various sports events for cricket, football, vollyball, chess, table tennis, table soccer, etc. There are some social group but I don't have information.
Admission
I was OBC category students and qualified for this college through MHT-CET entrance exam. My score was 90 marks and I selected for civil engineering branch. I don't know the exact cut-off for other categories. The admission process was completely offline and fees are submitted by only two options. First was DD and other option was own bank of college.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is averagely 1:60 thatvis 60 students per batch. The teaching staff is very good. In the faculty most of the senior staff are PhD holders and contain in depth knowledge about their field.The student staff interaction is good. Any student can interact with faculty at any time without hesitation. Overall teaching faculty is good.
