Course Curriculum Overview
We have classes from 9:30-4:30 which includes theory lectures as well as labs. University follows the pattern of ICAR as per them they teach and teaches theory also in labs we perform experiments related to course and in 3rd year they provide you real exposure to field in which you are alloted an area and you have to do all operations by yourself from sowing to harvesting We have one mid term in every semester and then exams in the last mid term is of 30 marks and 20marks of practical and final exam of 50 Marks They give proper gap for final exams but no holiday for mid term and also 2mid term exams in a day
Placement Experience
A less no. Of students opt for placement and those who opt a very few gets placed and mainly the companies which come for placement are from sales and you have to compensate with students of other courses for same job
Fees and Financial Aid
There is 5% hike in fees each year The complete cost of my education is around 4,50000 it includes all course fee, admission charges There is scholarship in first year only and on the basis of marks one get in 12th standard and it is for first year only Till now no such responsibilities and stipend i have got
Campus Life
The university provides you a good overall experience and various opportunities to involve in social events multiple events are organized by each department each month. Your college life will not be boring in university. Many competitions, quizes, cultural activities are organized. YUVA fest occurs every year. Every festival is celebrated with great joy in hostles Sports are also organized between departments and also between different collages of dehradun
Admission
Eligibility - 12th pass For application you can just visit the university contact the admission cell and they let you interact with a counsellor and provide you all the details needed you can get admission till very last of session Admission process can be improved by only telling the accurate information no lies
Faculty
All the faculties having PHD in their respective fields and teaching experience of many years Some of them teach very well however there are one two teachers whose teaching is not that much good. But most to them are very good and also guides for future aspects
