Campus life is very good, there is very healthy environment in the college campus
Sports facilities are considerably good, administration is supportive in sports related activities
There is nearly 100 percent placement after completing mbbs ,

Dislikes

Quality of food is not good in hostel mess, this must be improved
Cleanliness is not maintained in the hostels

Course Curriculum Overview

This course provides diverse opportunity, provide high level of skills, and good interaction with patients This course prepares us for the worst case scenario and teaches us to deal with emergency conditions The teaching method should be changed to a completely practical approach rather than focusing on bookish language

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 145000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees including academic and non-academic fees are nearly 200000 per year. Financial help can be taken in the form of scholarships under the prime minister scholarship programme Stipend of 17000 is given to all interns during their 1 year compulsory internship

Campus life is the best thing about our college, sports and gymnasium facilities are good Technology is up to date in most departments But the college doesn't give many opportunities for extracurricular activities

Eligibility criteria for admission are, that the candidate should be NEET qualified and should have applied for admission to the college during counseling procedure. Benefits of reservation are given in each step, from fee for form filling to taking admission even after getting lower ranks

My honest thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge. Time to time exams are conducted here to test are abilities and areas and subjects so that we can improve in that particular field.

Attendance criteria is 75 percent it should be reduced More practical based ques should be asked in the exam and more emphasis on practical knowledge should be done. Proper class test of each subject should be conducted. We have yearly based exams.

Placement Experience:

We get a stipend internship of 17000 per month and after the internship, if u have a bond then u get 5 yr compulsory service under the government of which u get a salary of 70000-80000 per month. You can post in hilly areas.

HIMS mbbs college(dehradun) review

Remarks:

The college is excellent in terms of studies and reputation. It is renowned college of the state and being medical college, the patient inflow is also high. The teachers are excellent. However there is not much attention given to cultural activities and sports.

Perfect place for quality education

Remarks:

Apart from the fee structure the rest facility in the college is nice. Education is good quality and hospital facility is also nice. Life in college is decent and the extra corricular activities are also ediquate.
