Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum at IIT BHU is generally very relaxed compared to other iits, here there is the concept of relative grading and marks are easier to score in comparison to other iits. So that's a plus point
Placement Experience
our placements are good, due to the vast alumni base of IIT BHU, and the tag of IIT, The students are eligible for placements from their 7th semester, Highest Package 1.65CR , average package 20.46 lakhs. around 70 percent got placed
Fees and Financial Aid
FEE structure is 2.1 lakh You will get fee remissions if you are genews,obc,or sc-st. For sc st and general ews with an annual income less than 1 lakh, there are 0 academic fees. only mess fees and hostel fees are payable, which is around 30000 per year. for other students the regular fees is around 2lac+ per year academic fees.
Campus Life
The campus is home to some incredible fests like Kashiyatra (Jan), technex (march), Spardha (october), MUN, Esummit, FMC Weekend. Almost every month a fest happens. The library is vast and is heaven for students, it has a large collection of books and journals for students. The classrooms are great and well equipped with Projectors, however, they are not AC classrooms as compared to other IITS. IIT BHU has the largest Sports grounds among all iits, we have Rajputana Ground (Kabaddi,Volleyball,tennis,basketball) Gymkhana Ground (Cricket,Hockey,Football,frisbee) ADV Grounds (Athletics) Student Activity Centre(Indoor badminton court, GYM, squash, chess, boxing ring, taekwando, weight lifting,etc.)
Hostel Facilities
Hostel provided for the first years are small rooms having space for 2 which we have to share among 3 students, they provide 3 beds, 2 almirahs, and 2 table chairs, so we have to adjust. However the food provided at iit bhu is considered better than most of the iits, both veg and non veg are provided the latter provided 3 days a week, we get poha, jalebi, dosa, parantha, Samosa, uttapam, chana , sprouts etc. in breakfast lunch and dinner are quite balanced with many different lentils, veggies and dishes, along with sweets or side dishes.
Admission
For admission in IIT BHU you have to clear JEE advanced which is one of the toughest exams in world. for having admissions in IIT BHU in BTECH program you have to have an all india rank of 15000 general category
Faculty
the faculties and Teaching staff is very qualified. and they are top notch when it comes to their respective fields. usually they are very lenient in academics and are very flexible but some exceptions are also there
