Remarks

It’s a college where you have to rely all on ourselves it isn’t comfy zone got to adjust to certificate this if we are prepared for all of this then you might want to consider this college. Geology isn’t available anywhere in Tamilnadu and this is best compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As it is an autonomous college the course curriculum is fair and relevant. The main exams are very strict. The curriculum covers all if the portions that need to be covered for my subject. Even the field trip makes us a better professional as we work and learn practically.

Placement Experience

3

For every BSc course, we need to finish in order to get a job so it’s difficult to answer this question. Jobs in this sector is mainly based on entrance exams you will need to pass them in order to get a job and most of them are central government related.

College Events

4

Various competition pops up and in various departments freshers day, Pongal celebrations, clubs like NSS, Rotaract, NCC etc conduct their own events the main thing is that we need to aware and try to participate blood bank now and then dental clinic takes place and sports interdepartmental.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college has a very minimal fees so that education can be reached by all the first year fees sums around 3000 or less the other expenses are cut down if you opt hostel it’s around 12000 per annum and if ur outside it’s all in your hand how much we spend but for me my expense sums up around 70000 with my room rent etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

It’s quite simple to apply cause there are people to guide they will read out a circular about the documents to be submitted

Campus Life

3

Campus life is fun and enjoyable based on your friends. Extracurricular according to my department is field trip for excavation for fossils and minerals and the field trips are actually fun debated happen now and then. Sport all kinds take place between departments but we need to be proactive in order to participate

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are helping to guide you in the right path and also help in improving the department. They explained the course job platforms and senior help out with notes and suggesting books.

Admission

You fill the application form which will be issued at the college. There will be a specific day within which we need to complete the form and submit it. They will hand over a sheet regarding the class 12th marks and the round of counseling we need to attend to apply for the seat. On that day the marks will be announced in decreasing order were the students who got within the range of announced marks.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my department is approachable. They are striving to make improvements in the quality of service provided cause geology is a rare subject thing aren’t just easy. It’s hard to find eligible professors but still, our faculty has it. But it all comes down to us our hard work. People are there to guide us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.
