My college experience at KKWIEER was truly transformative. The academic atmosphere here is extremely good. Most of faculty members of chemical engineering department have the expertise in their subjects and regular lectures are conducted.

Dislikes

Everything is good but I think the college should also focus on soft skills which will help students in overall development.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course involves subjects like mass transfer, heat transfer, chemical technology etc., which helps in knowing about the chemical plants and equipment working in detail. This course is tough and one should select this course only if they have interest in the chemical engineering subjects and chemical industries.

Internships Opportunities

I got the opportunity to do my internship at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers, Chembur. I had a truly enriching experience at RCF. I learned and witnessed various chemical plants during my internship.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are good. The placement opportunities help students to get placed in good companies. College also conducts mock interviews which helps students to be ready for the main interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had received the 'tuition fee waiver scheme'. This scheme is applicable to top three CET scorers of the class. My fees was around 14000 per year due to this scheme. The college gives the placement opportunities to students.During the campus drive I got placed at Emerson pvt ltd.

Campus Life

My overall experience at KKWIEER was very good. I was a part of various clubs and committees which helped me in increasing my network. These clubs and committees have transformed me into a better person.

Admission

The admission is based on CET or JEE mains percentile. The exams conducted are not easy. One need to work really hard to score good marks. The syllabus of few subjects is quite vast and need to be reduced.

Faculty

Most of professors at KKWIEER chemical engineering department have completed their Master's or PhD from renowned colleges like IIT, NIT, ICT. Regular lectures are being conducted by all the professors. Most of the professors are extremely sincere about teaching and help students in solving doubts.

My college is good in infrastructure and education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

The reason here I cannot tell explain here. I choose this college becuse this college select candidate based on the performance on CET. Doesnot take any donation for admission. I ended up picking this college over the others I applied to for a bunch of reasons.
