Campus is wonderful with a garden canteen and all the other necessities

This course is really interesting and choose only if you are really a forensic enthusiast . Donot choose this course with nere interest you have to work very hard to build a career with such a course . According to the current scenario the opportunities are not high but in 1 or 2 years there can be a immense change

Internships Opportunities

Every semester you can apply for internship and you will get it approved . You can apply throygh kepa for internship or through local police station and at the end of the course you have to do 1 month internship compilsorily. No stipends for these internship

During yhe last semester placement opportunities are available . Avg salary package will be starting from 10,000. You can pursye an MSc in forensic science . Can get placed in government sectors through attending various exams

The first year fee is 1,78000 2nd year 1,20,000 3rd year 1,20,000 Scholarships are available for those who scored above 90 %for their 12th Loan facilities are available for students and also national Scholarships are also available

Campus Life

Campus life is actually beautiful all the main events and programmes are conducted . Univesity programmes as well as college programmes will be conducted . In every semester there will be atleast 4 ,5 events . There is student council to solve the problems for students and also libraries are available. There will be sports , culturals ,college day, holi ,onam , freshers , newyear or christmas,etc

Hostel Facilities

There are around 2or 3 hostels for the students . You can book your hostel rooms during the time of admission . Generator ,attached bathrooms ,fan, light ,study table, bed, lift services are available .3000 you have to pay konthly for the food . Food is not really good . There are really good pgs available in mukka which is very affordable with monthly spent of 3000-4000

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

There is no particular enterance exam for the course . 50 % above marks on 12th class is the eligibility criteria and students from biology science background are only eligible . Application is through online . For seat booking 30000 and this will be excluded from the first year fee.

Faculty

All the faculties are good and highly qualified . Faculties are very friendly to the students and makes us comfortable in classes . They provide notes and all the other required study materials and help to concentrate in studies

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
