Course Curriculum Overview
I studied B.com alongside CA.I chose the college because they offered CA coaching too. B.com is affiliated to BCU so it's mostly not so useful in real life. Its more of basics. We had two internals between each sems and the questions were moderate level papers as they counted for Internal marks in the end.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year when I joined the fees was Rs 75,000 but I got scholarship of 10,000 on merit as I scored 90+ in ll PU.The second and third year the fees were same and I had got an additional scholarship of 5,000 during 2nd year due to financial stress I had written a letter to the principal
Campus Life
There are two fests which happens alternativey in all sems i.e., Flair-Intra college fest and Samskruthi -Inter college fest. All subject related books were available in the library. The classrooms were well equipped. We had a projector, wifi and ACs in classrooms. Sports and extra curricular is well encouraged in the college. There was NSS club and Rotaract clubs.
Admission
There was no such eligibility criteria but a minimum of 60% aggregate was required in PU and no backlogs were allowed. There was no Reservation benefits as was a general merit student. No entrance exams were conducted during admissions.I felt the payments of fees could have been better because there was no option to pay cash directly in the college instead we had to deposit it into a bank near college and submit the receipt.
Faculty
There were around 50-60 students in each class. The faculty were great as I mentioned earlier. They were well-versed in their respective subjects and some held PhDs too and were very friendly and cooperative while teaching. They were easily approachable and extra efforts were put to make topics understand through various activities, seminars etc
