In your 12th class, you are required to secure at least 45%, and you can obtain the application form from the college. However, there are no reservations available. It's worth noting that if you have connections with the faculty, you may be eligible for a some discount.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I began my BCA journey, I initially doubted the curriculum's relevance in our fast-paced tech world. Yet, I soon realized its importance in laying a strong foundation for coding basics. However, to secure a job, I understood the necessity of self-study alongside formal education. In today's competitive landscape, blending institutional learning with personal initiative is essential for success in the tech industry.
Internships Opportunities
They don't provide any internships to students. If you want to do an internship, you can do it in the 6th semester because there is no academic workload during that time.The 6th semester is dedicated solely to training and placement activities.
Placement Experience
When I was in the 5th semester, we were informed about big companies coming for interviews, but instead of landing tech jobs, many of us ended up with marketing or call center positions despite studying BCA.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the academic years 2021-2024, the fee structure was set at 24500 per semester, inclusive of exam fees. However, for students enrolled in 2024, there was an adjustment to approximately 29000 per semester.
Campus Life
There's only one annual function, the Diwali fest, but sometimes it gets cancelled by the management. Additionally, during sports week, they don't allow students to sit in the library; you can only book resources from the library.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel available in the college, but there are also some nearby options for accommodation.You can also try to secure a hostel in KD Dental College, which is also a branch of Raiv academy for technology and management.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 5:100. Some of them were educated at our college, but pursued further studies to earn master's degrees in their fields. However, there are also some faculty members who may not match the expertise level of the older ones.
Interview Experience
Only marketing companies conduct group discussions, whereas tech companies usually conduct tests and personal interviews .For placements, there are usually only 2-3 rounds in total, and you can easily crack them.
