Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of the course is quite interesting if taught and studied with interest and enthusiasm.this course along with theory contains practical knowledge which is quite interesting. On- field experience in 3rd and 4th year will really keep you motivated to continue with the course. The curriculum provided by the university is same as that provided by the central universities like ICAR. I would really like to suggest the university to increase the student-faculty ratio and include some modern methods of teaching. The field where practicals of agriculture is done require reclamation of soil so as to actually get the output. The lab also needs to be upgraded and the students need to visit agriculture and allied industries to gain more exposure. Exam timings were at par but the difficulty level needs to be increased.

Placement Experience

1

From seventh semester, students become eligible for placement, but there are no good companies coming for placement in agriculture department. As of now there is nobody of knowledge being placed in any agriculture company. I have already gotten the degree and am preparing for government Exams. I would suggest anyone taking admission in this college should start preparing for government exams like AFO from 2nd year and try to approach companies for trainings.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees does not increase regularly if you have already joined the course but if you are taking admission then the course fee might have increaesd, so you will have to check it again on the website. the rate of hike can be around 5%. At present the complete cost if you have not taken hostel will be somewhere around 5 lakh 25 thousand including all the compulsory miscellaneous charges without hostel . if you are taking hostel then it may vary with the capacity of room and A/C , non A/C. There is no scholorship provided to the students of agriculture.

Campus Life

3

There are two important annual fests that take place in the university. One is Spark and the other one is Sports Fiesta. Both of them are wuite involving as in Sports Fiesta you get to enjoy the events and you get to participate in sports like Badminton, khokho, kabaddi, debates , Tech fests etc. In spark cultural events take place and you get to enjoy concerts of famous celebrities. the accessibilty to books and journals in the library is quite easy. You just have to be ready with your library cards. there are no technological provisions in the classroom There are various inoperative clubs. You only get to participate during fstivites otherwise there are no provisons. only a small place is alloted for badminton and basketball court is also there. You can play these two after your college hours.

Hostel Facilities

2

There are three beds in the three seater room. The beds are closely placed and there is no gap. There are three tables provided in the room but if you opt for that one there will be no space for walking. There is a balcny and common washrooms for all the residents on the same floor. There is water cooler. There is common induction for every hostel member. in A/C rooms , A/Cs are provided and the remote will be given only in summer. The food quality is not at all good. You can expect good food once in a week or month. registration is quite easy but it is not value for money. you can rent rooms in Chhata, Mathura.

Admission

eligibility- 50% in graduation with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as subjects in +2. The forms are available on the website of the university sanskriti.edu.in the reservation benefitrs are available but only through the state/ central policy and not by the college. If your state provides any such benefits then kindly fill the form of that specif beneficial program every year. There are two sessional exams and one semester exam every semester . Sessionals are taken at gap of one month and the the semester . The difficulty level is not much and any one can get a good average score only by stydying for an hour or two everyday. There is no exam for entrance.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is not very impressive. Particularly talking about Agriculture department, there were certain subjects in which there was no faculty member and it was assigned to the teacher already teaching two subjects. Though I would really appreciate the efforts of the faculty members and there credentials because they were excellent teacher , the management of the university didnot treat them well and hence they left and the teachers kept on recycling. It was very easy to interact with the faculty members and the dean of the department. The were very helpful and kind to be honest.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
