Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course which I have taken is CSE(DS).This is an emerging course. In comparison to the fee for this course with others is also relatively less. The course design is also good as it prepares you for your placements also.As our's is an affiliated college we follow the JNTUH's curriculum. The curriculum is designed at a good pace so tht we could learn everything in 4yrs. The only change in the curriculum which is required is that we shud have a project to do in every sem so that we could develop more knowledge. As now we have projects from 2nd yr only. Usually the mid is conducted after every 45 days and in the mean time it's expected to complete 2.5 units before that. For sems exams we are given a day or a two gap between each exam which is useful to study. As we get our papers from jntuh so the papers are quite difficult. But the morning sessions are easier compared to the afternoon ones.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course which I have taken is CSE(DS). The fee for this course at our college is 90k per yr. Actually this is affordable as the course which I have taken is in demand now.The tuition fee is same for 4yrs there will be no increase in the fees. The complete cost of our fee including everything for 4yrs would nearly be around 8lks. There is transportation facility provided from all the sides of the city. They charge you based on the distance. The buses are very neat and clean. They even drop and pick you at your exams centers.Everyone usually gets the scholarship of the state govt only. But only the obc,sc/st are eligible for this state govt scholarship. There are various scholarships given other than the state govt one lyk the pragathi scholarship aicte one a many more. The college people even give a financial aid to students who get a score of 9+ gpa for two consecutive sems.

Campus Life

2.5

Actually very less fests are conducted in our college. Now there is a fest coming up the next month.Usually our fest is named as prajwalan ik it doesn't sound tht good but we can't help though. There are three clubs in our college the technical, cultural and sports. Anyone can join any club which they are interested in and can also change when ever they want. Our library is the best though it is not that big compared to others but it is small and cozy.we even have a digital library. There are lot of useful books and journals in the library which we can use anytime. We have digital boards in our college in all the classrooms. We have spacious ground in our college where we can play various sports like throwball, football, volleyball, table tennis, carroms, badminton etc.We have NSS at our college through which various social activities are done by the students of our college. We usually have something or the other nss activity everyone week.

Admission

Hello anyone who has completed inter can join our college VMTW. Everyone can take addmission through Eamcet or even join through management quota. All the details and the contact numbers will be available at the colleges offical website you can call and contact them and visit. All the reserved categories have reservations and can get addmission into this college wd above 65k rank. The faculty in our college really teach well. They conduct exams which enhance our knowledge in tht subject. After every unit they conduct exams which are helpful to prepare for the end semester exams. The things which needs improvement in our college is tht infrastructure and placements.Even though the infrastructure is okay but there should be little more ventilations in the classrooms and placements can be little better.

Faculty

Hello I'm nasreen. I'm writing this review about my college VMTW.The faculty are really well knowledged. They teach really well and at a good pace so that everyone can understand. The student to faculty ratio is also good as a teacher has just 2 classes in every sem. The faculty have a good approach at teaching as they ask questions of the previous topic which was completed the before day. They even conduct exams after every unit which is very helpful for the end sem exams. We can ask doubts at any time as teachers are available all the time even through WhatsApp also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.
