Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am interested in carrying my future in pure science. Chemistry being strongest department in this college compelled me to take admission here. The course curriculum is very relevant to the current scenario and national level exams like CSIR NET, GATE, BARC, DRDO, SET etc. Exams are held every 5 months with the paper difficulty level varying from easy to moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

Most of the students from BBA MBA departments are selected for internships at google, wipro infosys, accenture, capegemini, tech Mahindra. Handsome amount is given as stipend ranging anywhere between ?10000-?40000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is very less. Even a lower middle class family can afford education here. No additional charges are charged. Scholarships are available for every student irrespective of category, department etc. Scholarships like NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP, E-MEDHABRUTTI, MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP, BIJU YUVA SASHAKTIKARAN YOJANAAYEN etc are available with amounts ranging from ?3000-?30000.

Campus Life

5

Varius cultural clubs, red Cross club, ncc camps and annual sports meet is arranged. Each department takes its final year students on a study tour to any university like UTKAL UNIVERSITY, CSIR IMMT, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY etc.

Admission

For BSc the eligibility criteria is to have passed the HSC examination. Cut off varies anywhere between 55-85 percentile. Application form is released every year on SAMS ODISHA website. Candidates have to apply through that website and cut off list will be published based on that. No entrance exam is conducted. Selection is purely based on HSC marks.

Faculty

5

Faculty ratio is 1:3 which I consider is a very good ratio. Teachers are well qualified and have cleared some national level exams like CSIR NET, GPAT, GMAT, GATE, CAT etc. They have very good experience in teaching. Students are free to approach teachers anytime to seek guidance , doubt clearance and so on. Labs are well furnished with lab assistants having very excellent knowledge in their respective fields
