Course Curriculum Overview

National Institute Ranking is Nine. That was a major contributor to joining this college. College is well reputed and has had good and excellent placements in the past. My current course is also a good package course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

there is financial aid available. it depends on your category and family income. I haven't availed it so personally I don't have much knowledge. My classmates and friends have availed and makes the college mich affordable.

Campus Life

overall campus life is bad. the temperature reaches quite high. the hostels aren't that good as other colleges, but that is the con of all government colleges. the campus is safe for girls too. but they have a strict curfew time.

Admission

NITT has the accepted compitition exam of JEE Mains. the cutoff is quite high. getting a good rank is necessary and quite hard. the admission process is also smooth and friction less. over all good experience of the admission process

faculty is good. they interact nicely. open to new technologies and can be helpful at times. there are always some problem here and there but, every college has those small small things. good college overall.

Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for the placements only during the 7th semester, we are given pre placement training, mock interviews and skill development workshops. Most of the recruiters at HITS for CSE are TCS, Wipro, Congnizant, Capgemini, IBM, HCL and Accenture, others include KPMG, Deloitte and EY. The number of offers differs from company to company. The highest package ranges from 12-15LPA, the average package is mostly 4-6LPA and there are alos slightly lower offering salaries like 3.5-5LPA. PRofiles that are most offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst and Consultant. Almost 70-80percent of the students get placed and this may also vary across departments. Plans after receiveing the degree and if not placed are to pursue higher studies or build my own startup in the tech industry and build more skills side by side.

NIT Trichy Experience thus far

I got NIT Warangal Metallurgy in the first round of JoSAA counselling as well as NIT Srinigar IT in the second and third rounds. Chose Production at NITT over them because I dont like Coding or Metallurgy but am enthusiastic about operations and supply chain. The admission happens through JoSAA counselling on the basis of JEE Main scores. Above 98.5 percentile is safe scote for General Males. 98 percentiles should be enough for OBC and EWS males(both other state). For females decrease 1 percentile each....Read More
