What Students Say

Likes

In this college, library will be the best place to spend time. The cleanliness and maintenance of this library is great! You will find every informative book you want.
And the canteen! I personally love our college canteen. Because every item in this canteen is affordable price. The meals in this canteen is far better than many other canteens in other colleges I can guarantee that!!
Another best thing I like here is our playground. Really spacious. Lots of memorable moments have been there in that place!

Dislikes

Most of the time, Washrooms! Tbh, No women campus deserves dirty washrooms! So I personally didn't liked that.
The timings of this college is really difficult. I wish it would be nice if they arrange their timings 9:30 or 10am at morning
Not having enough clubs and events will be the major dislike for every student in this college! If you want to enjoy your college life with fun events then please don't expect much from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

As our college have been affiliated by JNTUK. Our syllabus is very vast. So that it is difficult to complete for our faculty members. We students are completing remaining syllabus by ourself at the time of the semester exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

Before rescission, our college average package is 6 lakhs per annum. As the situation now is not so good because of rescission, there are no sufficient placements now. But our faculty were trying to get best opportunities for our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

ECE -1.2 lakhs per annum CSE- 2 lakhs per annum CSM - 2.5 lakhs per annum IT - 1.5 lakhs per annum EEE - 1 lakh per annum Government schemes are available. So there will be two categories, Category-A and Category-B. Cat-A is government schemes and Cat-B is management fee

Campus Life

Nothing much as I have been expected about Btech life. There are not enough cultural fests. Club activities are not much interesting. Events will be not much conducted. Outings not available frequently in our college. So in my experience, there is an average experience with campus life.

Admission

For Electronics communication engineering (ECE) is below 20 thousand rank. For Computer science and engineering (CSE) is below 10 thousand rank. For Information Technology (IT) is below 15 thousand rank. For Electronical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is below 30 thousand rank. For Computer Sciences Machine Learning (CSM) is below 18 thousand rank.

Faculty

In our college,Every lecturer is PhD holders. Some of them did their PhD’s and masters in IIT’s and NIT’s. The faculty-to-student interaction will be pretty good. They will guide us about career in a great way.

Good Faculty, Supportive Campus Life & Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
