Remarks

The college is decent enough to provide good placement opportunities but it lacks in the feild of providing exposure to the students there are no new innovations in college all the old things are being repeated over and over again like be college projects

I had been placed on campus and been placed in a good company it has tie ups with various company like tcs, infosys, cognizant, metacube, etc but there is one problem that if a student is placed in one company he /she cannot sit for placement in another company.

Yes students can avail bank loans as well as scholarships if any

There have been high gender discrimination even the faculty are so narrow minded that they sometimes don't allow people to roam around in college campus

The hostel is an average hostel poor wifi quality and food service but has strict timings

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT.
