What Students Say

Likes

Accomodation. The hostels are neat and good. Has DG backup.
More affordable compared to other universities.
Clean and fresh environment and surrounding.

Dislikes

It's far from city. Needs almost a day if you plan to go to city.
Its hard to move in local if you do not understand Tamil.
Education is mosty focussed on completion of syllabus rather than industrial application of theory.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was good and syllabus was what initiated interest and curiosity. Lab was sponsored by Govt. Of India. Our cource was sponsored by Govt. with lesser fees than other cources. This is not the case at present.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I compled my couse in less than 5 lakh rupees. This cost has increased a lot now. I was not eligible for any scholarship. Our bath did not see good placements. Management/department faculties did not focus much on our department getting companies for placements.

Campus Life

Karunya university is a Christian minority university. Christmas is the festival which is a grand celebration every year. It's lot of fun. University has a good decent library. Good classrooms. Wifi facility throughout campus. Every hostel campus has good sports infrastructure. University run multiple clubs which you can be part of.

Hostel Facilities

Every room has a bed, table and chair for each student. Common washroom which are always clean. It's a residential university. All students must stay in hostel. Meals in canteen are decent compared to other collages as per my knowledge

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Application to college is through their exam KEE. Application is done throughbtgeir official website. This was one time exam. Exams are pretty decent level with basics of 11th and 12 th class Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Based on the rank applicants are called for councelling and admission process. Based on availability applicants are allowed to choose their preffered course.

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

A place of growth

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year itself a student become eligible for campus placements and some of seniors got ino flipkart like companies. So the college is good at placement. In any colleges, due to college the student can't only be placed, their skills, talents, communication is more important to get placed so based their knowledge the students get placed. only thing college need to do is getting good companies with package and our college also provide it.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.
