The university provides a good number of placements and global exposure to students. So, I opted for this university. I wanted to explore North India that made me go for this. Its been 4years here and there is no nuisance or any violence I have faced. Thank you.

The events include Aghaaz fresher party, Tashan nights,cu fest, tech fest. Many Bollywood celebrities mark this university as their way of promoting their films. The university is culturally rich but they give their Punjabi culture a big importance neglecting the rest of the country.

When I got admitted to the university. It was 60,000 for academics and 70,000 as your hostel fee. Now after 4year, it may be approx 80k and 90k for a hostel. It is moderate. You can afford the fee because the rest of colleges with the same rating this university have charge much more than this.

Yes if you are good at academics. The topper is awarded a scholarship with some amount. And the 10th 12th, 90% holders are also beneficial.

The campus life is not bad here. The weather of Chandigarh is always pleasant so it is a very homely environment. The gender ratio is 6:1 where the male is 6 and the female is 1. The college includes students from all over the country and outside the country also. The labs and competitions are good enough.

Hostel food was good in those initial days of the 1st semester but now it is horrible. It is either spicy or either too oily. Rather the University has a number of food courts with affordable prices for the students and some street food are also available till night.

Ragging is strictly prohibited here. Senior students never dominate the juniors, they are friendly and always supportive.

There is 2 Mid Sessional Test which decides the internet assessment of your course which also includes surprise test, assignments, project vivas etc. The final exam includes 60 marks of paper which are your external assessment. If you are good in your internal, you have to study less for your external.

I have applied online in their official website then there is a regional office for admission in my hometown. Then according to Jee exam and your board merit criteria they will give you form to fill with all the agreement and then you deposit the fee and get admitted.

The faculty is supportive enough. Everyone is GATE qualified. The faculty is always supportive ideas if you have any innovative idea in any field. Some professors are not so interested in how you have gain knowledge or not just they perform their duty.
