Likes

Fees is very very less as compared to most of the PG Collages
Standard curriculum is there, all the concepts required for any degree, you just have to focus
The environment is pretty chill, you will get a lot of free time

Dislikes

As this is a PG college so no placements were there
Not many opportunities for you to explore
No clubs, events for fun activities organised by college

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is average that you'll find in most PG colleges. As I chose B.Com. so it was mostly theoretical. All the required concepts were there in the curriculum, that were required for B.Com. And the teachers were good in explaining all the concepts & topics of the syllabus.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was very very low in the college. You just have to submit fees once in a year that was 3400. UP government provides scholarship was easily available, that was enough to cover the academic fees. So in therms of fees this college was super cheap.

Campus Life

As this college is very old, so the infrastructure is of that time like 1970s. And there is not much improvement in the infrastructure from that time. Its pretty average or below average in that regard. There were no any clubs. Campus life was pretty below average. Just come and study, take the degree that's it.

Admission

I studied in HAR SAHAI P.G. COLLEGE which is affiliated to CSJM UNIVERSITY. There was no entrance exam for my admission in B.Com. It was percentage based, of my 12th class percentage. Admission was pretty smooth. No unnecessary fees or anything. Just college fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.

Placement Experience:

The students start getting the opportunities of placements from the 5th semester. Students are given good g uidance whenever required. The placement cell invites a good mix of companies. Ishan builds a preparation ecosystem for us by organizing various events. One of them was - Vyapar Niti a 24 hour workshop was conducted in which students were allowed to develop their startup ideas under experts mentorship.

Pocket Friendly College with all the facilities.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from the last semester of the course. Almost 70% percentage of the students get placed right after the completion of the course and rest choose to go for higher studies or self financed business. My plans after getting my degree is to start my own business.

My college is my college.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies are visited in our college for job offers like frankfin, hcl, tcs, Barclays, hdfc, and many more. The company offers job by considering the students as a freshers thus it offers very average package for students but if the performance of students Is good in that company, then it may chance that they hire for higher post with high package. But at starting they offer atleast 2,50,000/- to 3,00,000 per annum.

I choose this collge over other college because firstly I belong to this city and this is a only government College in my Kanpur city which provied a quality of education. I didn't applied any other Colleges so I didn't get rejected from any other Colleges. The admission process of this college is very simpler first fill the university admission form that is 300 fees and then fill all the other information in smarth portal that is generalised database of so many colleges then the faculty and the college coordinators will approve your admission and sent you a email to come over college and give the writen paper and an interview and then you will enter in your college and admission granted.
