True and only true!!

The course structure is the same as taught in NITs and IITs. The relevance of the course currently is not up to the mark yet because the university was established in 1935 so they quite believe in the theory that OLD IS GOLD so they would rather adopt old curriculum rather than new one but we students have high hopes after the development of AI and AUTOMATION centre in the college. We have periodicals (10 marks) twice a semester and end-sems (60 marks) as usual and we have 20 marks of Assignment. The difficultly level of periodicals is easy to medium and of end-sems is medium-a little hard.

The placement season begins in the 7th semester. The placements are good. Few of the visiting companies are: JP MORGAN AND CHASE, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, MORGAN STANLEY, AMAZON, GOOGLE, WALMART, TCS, INFOSYS, RELIANCE, HERO, MAHINDRA, BOSCH, SCHNEIDER, GOLDMAN SACHS, CISCO, ATLASSIN, FLIPKART, and many more. The highest package was offered by Google (45lpa) and median package is 10lpa. Average package is 7lpa. The placement percentage is almost 100 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to go and secure a good placement and after sometime maybe apply for a good MBA college.

The few structure is quite simple if you refer to the college website. College offers various scholarships under the GOI scheme and there are a lot of extensive scholarships offered to the girls from UP. NeedCumMerit scholarship and Reliance scholarship are the best scholarships offered here.

There are a lot of fests in the college such as COSMOS, NAVOTKARSH, MAYUKH (national level tech fest), APAJI FEST (3 day fest and it includes a large Mela as well), AYYAM, ADHYAYA, etc. All the fests include a lot of great and fun activities. We have 15 libraries in the whole university and every library has international author's books and internationally published journels or research papers. The university has a wide range of books from Ramayan to Quran to Bible to even latest inventions in nanotechnology. There are a total of 1 lakh books in the university.

We have 2 and 3 seater rooms. We are not allowed to bring coolers or ACs due to excessive power consumption. Each hostel has an estimate capacity of accomodating atleast 300 students and their are a total of 65 hostels in the university. We are provided table fans here. In the beginning it's hard to adjust but with time we adjust. The mess food is okay. There is variety in the cuisine everyday but the taste it still not very much up to the mark.

The process was big but worth it. First we had an online test and then results came with our rank in the exam. After that we had our councelling respective to the ranks we secured. The chances of getting computer related branches is when your councelling on the first or the second day. After branch allotment we had to submit the fees and after a few days we were called to now finally join the college where we were alloted hostels and after a few days of hostel allotment our classes finally commenced.
