Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this PGDM course because I'm interested in learning about business. I'm an Agriculture graduate, so I'm interested in Agri-Business Management. I want to learn more about business in every aspects, most importantly in Agri Business. The course curriculum at IIBS is really good. The courses provided at IIBS is really helpful to students to learn many more new things. IIBS not only provides Theoretical courses, but also invites guest faculgies to deleive guest lecture which helps students to learn what is happening in the real world. As PGDM has 3 trimesters per year, each trimester is of 3 months. So there will be 2 mid-term exams and 1 final exam per trimester. When it comes to difficulty of exams, if students are really attentive in class, then exam will be easy. Exams not only consists of all theoretical things, but also asks about practical things which happens in the real world which helps students to go out to the real world & overcome challenges and also to survive.
Internships Opportunities
Internships will be provided by college. Internship will be provided based on the specialized domains for the students. Stipend will also be provided in Internships. Stipend can be around 15-20 thousand rupees. From 2nd Trimester, students can be eligible for Internship. So that the students can learn more from the outside real world. To face real challenges and also to overcome them. So that the students will be well trained for future placements. Also can be able to develop more skill-set and better cultural traits & values & also behavioural traits.
Placement Experience
Campus placements will be available in College. From 2nd students will be eligible for palcements. Even before going for placements students will be well trained for Interviews. College invites people from different companies and different industrial experts to train students to develop skills sets and to get ready for Interviews. The highest package is 45 lakhs per annum. There is 100% placement, but placements are purely based on the skill sets of the students. And also how well the students attends their Interviews. My plans after my Pg degree is to find better placement in my interested department. After certain period, like after acquiring all the better traits and skill-set, then I'll plan to develop my own business. I'm mostly interested in Agri-Business, so I'll start my own business related to Agriculture.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure at IIBS is 845000 for 2 years. Students who take government exams will be eligible to take up this course. The scholarship is based on the percentage of 10th & 12th, scholarship can be up to 100,000 rupees. And also for girls, there will be 10000 rupess of extra scholarship. A free laptop will also be provided. If students are not able to bear the whole 845000 then students can apply for educational loans at banks. If students are facing any problem regarding this loan process then college will help us with the loan process. Students are eligible for different Internship programs since from 2 trimesters, and they can earn stipends of upto 15-20 thousand per month. And also campus placements will start from 2nd year.
Campus Life
At IIBS every festival will be celebrated. Mainly for new students, the Surface program will be held to welcome new students. Every festival will be held on campus, for students to develop their cultural behavior. There will be a seperate club for cultural activities and another club for sports. Sports will be held every month. Per month 2 sports meets will be held. In the library, there will be enough books available. Every classroom has a projector. There are 2 seminar halls fully equipped with ACs. Even Service learning programs will also be done to encourage students to develop their behavioral aspects. We recently did many different Service learning programs like helping Orphanage children, Old-age people, etc. Every activity held on campus will be posted on different official pages of IIBS. But none of these cultural activities influence studies of students, instead many good traits can be developed by students.
Admission
The Admission process is very good. To get placement the student should write any government examinations. To get admission at IIBS, students can go through the college's official websites and contact the BDEs and enquire them about all the details regarding admission. By going through reviews can also help students to get better understanding about the college. I enquired my senior who is already studing at IIBS, then after getting better understanding I took admission at IIBS. For getting MBA or PGDM admissions, government exams in Karnataka (Kmat) will be held in the month of November. The Admission process at IIBS is really good and every member who involve in admission process will be helping students in every aspects.
