Course Curriculum Overview

4

I decided to chose this course as I've grown up seeing doctors and wanted to become one. The course is very competency based and is definitely up to date. The doctors take a lot of effort to teach us. The only difficulty I feel is how extensive this course is.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee for one year is 25,370. It is a governmental institution so the fees is very reasonable. This includes tuition and bus fees. Multiple scholarships and sponsorships are available for students.

Campus Life

4.5

Since it is a medical college, prior focus is on education rather than recreation. But the student union has managed to conduct multiple programs to ensure fun. We have Bazinga, interbatch arts fest, interzone sports and arts, workshops, cme's and much more. There is a central library with a wide variety of books and journals on medicine. Classrooms have smart boards and projecters. Classrooms are air conditioned to provide a luxurious learning experience. Sports activities offered include football, cricket, basketball, badminton, table tennis and kho kho for both girls and boys. There is a student union that is highly approachable and always listens to our needs. There are also clubs for arts, dance, literature, music, chess, and more.

Hostel Facilities

4

Each room accommodates three people. There are three beds, three tables and three wardrobes per room. The food is reasonably hygienic. Breakfast includes one of the following : idli, dosa, appam and curries. Lunch is rice and curries with fish. There is tea and snacks. Dinner is usually chapatti, appam or puri with varying curries. Hostel fees comes to around 9000/- per year and mess fees is 120/- per day. It is affordable and registration is hassle free.

Admission

Applied online for NEET admission. Eligibility of course is qualifying NEET and 12th grade. Application forms are available online on NMC's official website. Exams are held frequently and they are considerably difficult as it is MBBS. Admission process is smooth and there isn't much hassle.
