Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is so sooo good. I'll rate 9 out of 10. Great hospital exposure is the main attraction. We can see lot of patients and we have an opportunity to deal with them and treat them. It's a good practice before the graduation. And the curriculum is already well planned by faculties. We Bsc students facing small issues with the attendance percentage.

Internships Opportunities

It's necessary to do our internship here from 2021 batch. After our 3 year course we can directly join for internship and we'll get 10k per month as a salary. It'll be very useful and helpfull after the course we will get jobs fast

Fees and Financial Aid

11000 is the only fee for the course. For the whole 4 years. Then you've to pay hostel fee 12000 by every year. The course is totally free. Here we have NSP and Norka scholarships available it'll will help us to manage buy books and other stationary items use full For study

Campus Life

JIPMER have a beautiful campus life think so. Sports arts athletics everything is actively coordinating here. Every year we have our college fest spandan for u days. And We can go to afmc for our sports if we win here for our interclass.

Hostel Facilities

Some hostels are really good. Girls hostel called curie is a real good one. All facilities including pantry laundry common hall library mess all is nice. But it's worth with the fee. And We have all refrigerator facility lift facilities also. Near by the hostel we have a gym also

Admission

The admission process was by live counselling. It wasn't so complicated. You have to apply for jipmer paramedical courses after neet. And they'll release a ranklist. And you've to come to college for counselling. And they'll call our names by the order in ranklist And you can choose the course you want if seats are there. Here they are very strict about the original certificates. That's one thing make us very stressed. You've to Crack neet by atleast 400 marks. No application for this OBC SC ST reservation is applicable. And also separate reservation for Puducherry candidates. Application process is very easy with our normal certificates.

Pondicherry University - The green campus

Placement Experience:

There is no placement history for our course. The main department offering placement in the campus is mba . They have the highest placement history . Also MCA people have placements . Companies like tcs , hdfc bank etc visit. Approximately 50% students get placement. Since there is no placement in our department , I'm planning to take masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am not impressed any curriculum of that college. That is girls college,feel free so only I choose that college. Otherwise curriculum is good. They give more teaching methods that is very helpful for dull students.

"Pondi is the best"

Placement Experience:

Among the ten semesters of the complete course after 4th year (7-8 semester) we are eligible for campus placements. The average package for students from company is almost 5 lakh per annum. 10 percentage among the students are only getting placements. After completing degree and post graduation I want to increase my teaching skills and want to move forward based on that.

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. This is a great college where you will have a assured future

In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
