Remarks

I would state that this institute is very diverse and one will learn so much and will start thinking out of the box. And the management is good and is very responsive to its responsibilities.

Entrance Preview

Saying honestly why I opted for this college particularly is because AIMS Institute provide a diverse atmosphere to learn and grow. In Bangalore, you will find the institution with lots of opportunities but AIMS provides you opportunities in each step of your growth. I feel so good to interact with the faculties and feel connected to the teaching methods. The faculty is very caring about your personal development and helps you to peruse your career . also AIMS is Ranked among the top 5 colleges in bang lore every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course curriculum is very objective and is planned in such a way that students would learn to the maximum. The faculty provides trending examples to teach which helps to understand the dynamic industries out there. You will be ready for the upcoming challenges and it will much easier for you to work when you will actually start working.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide internship for the undergrads, but it supports you if you are doing an internship of your own through other sources. You don't need to worry about the internships here, even though the college may not provide internships but it would help you regarding your attendance and will take the cover of your studies.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is actually good for the Graduate students (MBA) and most of the students are placed in good companies, but placements for the undergraduate are not that high. Students who do exceptionally well get placed from the undergraduate category.

College Events

4

Following are the list of events celebrated: 1.Induction Program for new Batch. 2.2K Marathon on the occasion of World Breast Feeding Day. 3.Guest Lecture - GST Concepts concerns and challenges. 4.Kargil Vijay Divas. 5.Training Program for the Hospitality Industry. 6.World Environment Day. 7.Financial inclusion education in Reserve Bank of India. 8.HPE Day - Techtalk on Disruptive Technologies. 9.AEEC Foundation Day. 10.Onam festival. 11.Yoga for Health on International Day of Yoga. 12.UMANG-FEST(National level) These are the few events which are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible and convenient. A student from the middle-class family would be easily able to study here without any problems with fees. I have seen students who come from a poor family and are achieved so much due to the feasibility of fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides the following scholarships: 1. Pragati:(Scholarship for Girl Students). 2. Saksham:(Scholarship to Differently Abled Students) Details you can find on the website.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is very charming as you will find yourself in between students who are challenging and competitive. As per the gender ratio, I would give Boys and Girls as 6:4. The diversity is high as there students from north-eastern and western countries.

Hostel Facilities

3

I would rate Hostel facilities as 7/10. And mess food also as 7/10. You will be satisfied with the food provided but what can you expect of a mess food? There will be non-veg in 3 days of a week and rest 3 days you will have veg. On Sundays you will get the dinner only and lunch you can have outside the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is high and the senior students are the exam. you can always reach out to them if you need any help or if you have any doubts that you need to clear.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is quite simple, we have 2 internals(20 marks each) 1 pre-final(70 marks) and finally the Sessional Exams(conducted by the university) in each semester. As you gradually start attending classes you will be informed about the exam structure in advance.

Admission

I got a direct admission. As my 10th and 12th grades were good and the institution felt that I am cable of living up to their future expectations. And the Admission process is quite convenient. First- Apply for the Registration. Secondly- you will get a call for the confirmation and you need to submit your documents( 10th and 12th mark sheet, Transfer certificate, Migration certificate etc.) Thirdly- They will physically check your documents and you will be later on informed about your admission confirmation.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are very co-operative and supportive. You won't face any problems while learning any new concepts. The faculties put extra effort to make the students get clear about the concepts. You will enjoy the study sessions and will look forward to attend further classes.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
