Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course I have chosen is MBBS and is mostly based on practical learning. During the first proff the practical learning comprise the dissection done in dissection hall, Physiology practicals (like clinical examination of abdomen, thorax etc., as part of humans experiment and measurement of hemoglobin, blood group etc., in hematology lab) and abnormal constituents of urine etc., as part of biochemistry practicals. From 2nd proff onwards, posting in hospitals occur to provide practical knowledge and practice under supervision of experienced teachers(who are doctors as well) . Altogether four years of practice in hospital with patients is provided.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the internship is provided by The college. It is quite hectic with postings in various departments( for fixed duration say two or three month posted in surgery then for other two or three month in gynecology switching to different department after it's duration). The Total duration of internship is 1 year. Average stipend given to each is 10000 every month.

Placement Experience

2.5

Since its a medical college and I am still a part of it, there is no companies visiting. After MBBS , students apply for PG exams and government service. Some prepare for IAS as well. Generally the selection immediately after passing out is 1 or 2 so most of people go away to take coaching for PG exams . Also some may join as demonstrator in the same college . The package provided during PG is variable depending in the college you are selected and course you get.

College Events

2.5

Since it's a medical college there is no technical fest. However cultural fest and sports are held every year in December involving various events and games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college, the fees is affordable with 42000 including all the tuition and other fees in it during the first year. for rest of the years the fees is less. For second year the fees is 21000 approx

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided by government as it is an government college. The refundable part of fees is refunded to the students applying provided the information given by the students are correct.

Hostel Facilities

The room has shelfs- 3large and 2 small and 1 large almirah. The accommodations like bed and table and chair are provided to students of final proff with only bed to students of first and second proff. The PGs are available in nearby residential areas. The annual fees for hostel is 2500/- . The food and catering is provided by mess which takes 3000/- per month or 100 each day comprising 20/-for breakfast and 40/- each for lunch and dinner. Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
