Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested for choosing cse brach.so, I choose the cse branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 2200 per year

Placement Experience

Student which is in final year or 8th sem will eligible for placement and students in 5th sem is eligible for internships. Tcs , Infosys etc companies visit in our college for placement. The average package of our college is 3lpa and highest package of our college is around 10 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee of GEC Raipur is around 18 thousand rupees but if you are ST/SC/OBC student and have income of your parents less than 1 lakh you fees will waived of, you have to pay around 2 thousand 8 hundred. The scholarship name is CG post matric scholarship.

Campus Life

In GEC Raipur have two fest in the year first is sport's fest i.e Aayam GECR and second is technical fest i.e Aavesh. The library is central library there are almost all kind of books are available. The classes are good. Gec raipur also have basketball ground and badminton court. Sports team are kho-kho, cricket, football etc.

Admission

The eligibility of the addmission of gec raipur is 12th pass wtih any board. An entrance exam CGPET is required for the admission in gec. CGPET application form is filled through cgvyapam website, there is no exam fees for anyone the exam fees is totally free. Further counseling is done in cgdte website There is no reservation benifit only merit base admission is available. Duration of exam is 3 hours . Campus admission process can be improved.

Nit Raipur a amazing college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good. The highest package offered was 2 crores (off campus) and 57 lacs per annum (on campus) in the CSE branch. Students in the 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. The famous companies like Amazon Microsoft Google Cisco and 100's other companies reach nitrr every year. The average package last year was 10 LPA more than 95 % of the students of CSE and IT got placed and for ECE more than 84% of students got their placements. placement for core branches is not satisfactory but it is good in comparison to other Nits. They have to try off-campus placement

Remarks:

The College is the only Institute of its kind in Chhattisgarh. It has an average infrastructure and the campus is small in size. There are many few colleges in-country offering b.tech in dairy technology, the admission process is very simple and also the fees is very cheap as compared to any other colleges, the professors are well qualified and they provide overall a good environment for study.

Remarks:

Positives of College- Very good faculties, well established Laboratories, a lot of opportunities for extra curricular activities and Sports is an important part of college. Negatives- attendance system is to be modified, Some books in library are very old, hostel doesn't provide Breakfast.

Remarks:

Overall my experience with the College is super and hastily developing, in the last few years we have wide-ranging face-lift of our precincts.
