What Students Say
Likes
- Campus: It’s just very aesthetic and honestly lifts the spirits on a day with good weather
- French Course: It was my favorite subject, from the content to the faculty everything was perfect.
- Well rounded curriculum: I think the curriculum was well designed.
Dislikes
- High cost: This is self explanatory I think.
- Certain courses although well designed were not appropriately structured in terms of timeframe.
- The location is quite far away from the city which means a long commute for non-hostellites.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty comprehensive and relevant. The aim is to have a well rounded curriculum which not only includes management subjects but also exposure to technological know how, foreign languages, social service, physical wellbeing, environmental education and more
Internships Opportunities
There are adequate internship opportunities available. In fact it is mandatory to do one internship for all second years. I think it's a good rule that encourages more students to pursue an internship.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are available for last year students. Students in second year are also eligible for internships. As far as I know, most students get placed. Mostly local companies and a few others visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is approximately 300,000 per annum excluding hostel and mess fees. I believe there are some scholarships for merit and discount/hike for student origin eg: NRI or domicile but I am not sure.
Campus Life
There is a wide variety of clubs, cells and committees available on cultural, sports academic and other interests. There are regular activities and programs both academic and extracurricular. There are also several facilities including a well equipped gym, well stocked library, etc
Admission
The admission process involved several rounds. Firstly I had to submit my application alongside my transcripts, extracurriculars and other info. Next, I had to take the SET exam after which I proceeded to the third and final interview round.
Interview Experience
Yes there was a written exam, the SET which had questions on language comprehension, mathematics and reasoning. There was also an interview which was on some general topic as well as few questions that depended on previous educational background. I prepared by referring to previous years papers and questions.
