Course Curriculum Overview

As I have chosen B.tech and it is really most challenging course as it requires full devotion in it. It has everything like many different subjects, lots of practical knowledge. Our Institute launches many tech fests like ROBOCOP and many coding competitions to encourage us to shape the theoretical knowledge into the practical world.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internship and have launched many startups like myshikshak.com and many more. As I interacted with the seniors they shared a very good experience of internship and stated that the program has trained them with basic skills required for brushing up minds in the industry.

Placement Experience

Many companies come for placement approx 150+ companies. In my branch(computer science) out of 10, 7 are placed. Major companies are TCS, Wipro, IBM ,etc. Average package is 4-5 lakhs pa.

College Events

Our main annual fest is KOLAAHAL and there are more fests like ENDURA, GLITZ, MOBICOM, ROBOCHAMP, ANIMIET, RANGOTSAV. All of them have massive footfall as all of them are open for college students and for other college students too! And our college's manages all of them perfectly like in a mannered and prosperous way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is totally affordable, there are some scholarships too, for those who find difficulties in fee submission. For first-year B.tech Student fees are Rs.120013.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university itself offers a scholarship to students who are needy or capable for achieving that.

Hostel Facilities

I am not a hostler but I have seen the rooms in the hostel. There are no single rooms, rooms are of two types two-seaters and three seaters. Charges for 3 seaters are Rs.58000 and Rs.61000 for 2 seaters. Food is nice as many of my friends who are hostlers had given me a review for that.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

There are many alumni meets in college and all of them are fruitful to us. Alumni tell us do's and dont's regarding the career construction.

Faculty

4.5

All professors have basic qualifications for teaching a Btech student, i.e. B.tech + M.tech and many of them have done Ph.D.'s in their respective courses. Faculties are extremely interactive and supportive, they never miss their respective lectures and totally devoted to making student's future bright. Even we have sometimes extra classes or substitutes of teachers if somehow the syllabus is not completed.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Decent Opportunities in Emerging Domains and Exposure to Hands-on Project

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

Poor management regarding any issue and problem

Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

To get admission in MIET you should score 70% marks and clear 10+2.
