Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is very well written and there are many interesting topics also . The curriculum teaches basic knowledge about our life which can be used in academic and in real life also . The curriculum is okay, the main thing is the faculty , our department has a very egoistic teachers and they do not listen to our opinion. The exam difficulties depend on the subject and in internals exam we have one hour and in semester exam we have 3 hours.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee for first semester is 60000 and 45000 for rest 5 semesters. There is 40% increase in fees structure from the next year. The total cost is about 2,85,000. If a student has 90% or above in 12th exam they will get 25% cut off from semester fee. No internship opportunities.

Campus Life

4.5

Till now our college has conducted onam celebrations and ehtinic day and it was conducted on last semester. The college has very huge library which has variety of books . Our college almost has many technology ranging from smart TV to biometric machine. On last month we had sports day which was conducted at mangala stadium . And there are many clubs and committees in our college and we can join them according to our wish.

Admission

The admission process in yenepoya manglore university was okay , the eligibility of course is above 75% biology, math, chemistry and physics. The application forms can be found online method and offline method ,the application fees was done by through agents and college office and the application date was on June 12 and we didn't have any entrance exam .Our course has a total of 6 semester which means three years of degree and there 2 internal exams between the semester exams . The exam difficulty varies from each subject , some are easy and some are difficult . The timing for the semester exam has 3 hours . There are many improvement required for admission process like , they take a lot of time and the staff members are limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course - BSC in Anaesthesia technology and operation theatre technology which I'm pursuing has a good career option, best way to help people if you can't clear NEET, you'll get specialization in both anaesthesia and operation theatre which is good for you future placements. The curriculum is very knowledgeable as it is too hard and lenghty for average students. The exams are undoubtedly hard but is 100% from your syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course's syllabus is very well structured. Each semester you learn a new topic and have practicals every week based on what you learnt in theory. Biotechnology is a very vast field so by the end of the course you have learnt a bit about the main areas of the subject which helps you choose the field for your higher studies. Exams are conducted twice per semester, mid sem and end sem. In between, there are internals or activities basically which will taken into account for your finals marks.

Placement Experience:

The students of the final semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Omega Healthcare, Biocon, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Magic Bus, Intelizign, Patanjali Health Institute, etc. The highest package my seniors were offered was around 15L/year and the average was 8L/year. Almost 60-80% of students got the campus placements. I want to get my master's degree completed and then try for Ph.D. and get into the research field.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
