CSE in this campus is the most famous branch as it has a record for 100% placement for over 400 students in jus one technical year. This campus helps you strengthen your practical skills.

Internships Opportunities

College will provide Industrial training but no internship. We will have to do internship externally. We can look for internship around the campus as it is locatied in on of the most famous places for IT in chennai.

Placement Experience

100% of the students got placed the previous year and this campus has a good record for placements. Many famous companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart,Goldman Sachs visit the campus

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for B.tech students is 1.95L/A and hostel: 80k-1.4L/A. If u wish to continue under management quota you will have to pay 3.5-4.5 lakh per annum.

Scholarship is available if you end up in top 5 rankers of the university.

There are no single rooms in this campus. It varies from 3shared to 7shared. I lived in a PG nearby paying 8K a month which included food.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.
