underrated college in an overrated location

Dislikes

  • the campus in this college is very small and tiny which does not fit a college
  • the location of the college is very rural and pretty isolated from the outside world

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course electronics and communication is pretty simple to understand I repeat simple not easy, you have to pay attention to it to grasp the concept and to thrive in it but it is not that hard once you get the hang of it. The curriculum is based of real-life application-based texts, once you learn what is taught you will actually have an advantage in this field if you mix it with your talent and hard work. The teachers are very good at what they do, they teach you with very simple methods using very simple words and ways, the way they take classes is just an art in itself. The exams are hard but not as hard as you would expect it is pretty easy if you prepare for it well.

Internships Opportunities :

companies like wipro, google etc come here to this college for internships and placements and so on. The roles offered by the companies differ from person to person and from company to company based on their preference and ideologies. At first they may give them small tasks and assign them to small teams then they may promote them slowly to high position.

Placement Experience :

In this college placements are offered by companies like wipro and tata steels and google and many other small and big start ups created by visionaries with vast amount of capital and talents. Students are eligible to apply for placements during their 5th semester that is in their 3rd year. The average package offered by the companies is 200000, the percentage of students getting placements vary in years depending on the capabilities of the students and their talents. My plans after getting the degree is to work for a company who has a comfortable salary and to save up money for some time then to open up my own repair and service shop for everyone.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For me it is 25000 per sem and they also take the 8500 which is the university fee as they like to call it then there is the additional fee of 2205 for exam registration. The opportunity to get scholarship while doing an engineering course is pretty high, the only downside to this is that you have to walk behind for it alone without any guidance from the faculty. In my case I am the representative of my class that is the EC department and it really allows me to polish my leadership skills and everything.

Campus Life :

To be honest, there are little to no programs conducted here in this college, the only program we got was the fresher's party after that nothing and none at all. The classrooms are okay with sufficient equipment and so on. Sports on this campus are almost non-existent because there is no proper equipment for the activities and no ground for people to play or train. There are several clubs run by students for students and for the improvement of their skills may it be professional or personal the clubs play a major role in campus life.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are very good considering the fee is only 5200 per month, for 5200 you get superb food and a good housing facility with students who share your mindset and your desires. The food here is just amazing both quality wise and quantity wise, the registration process was pretty simple it only took a form to fill.

Admission :

In my case I got here through the management seat and I booked my seat for 5000 because I didn't want to lose that seat to someone else. The course is pretty sought out nowadays as it is the trending course and everyone is saying that this course will lead the future to triumph. If you reserve your seat you can rest assured that you will get into this college. The timing of the exams is pretty typical not much to talk about it, the admission process was a bit laggy and a bit slow that was the only bad thing about it.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
